    5 stars 5 reasons
I’m giving 5 stars for 5 reasons. First, it has a decent sound. (Not $5000 sound but definitely $129 sound which is what we paid.) Second, it was fairly simple to setup. Not detailed instructions but if you look at the wires they tell you where they go. The bluetooth hooked up automatically so there was no problem there. Fourth, my dog ate the remote the first week we’ve had it and I was able to download an Ultimea app from the Googleplaystore and use the bluetooth from our phones to operate it- that was easy to set up and a good workaround. Fifth, it is well built and its a nice looking little set. It’s a great value for the money and we’re pretty pleased with it!

    Super quality sound
What a value for the price. Great, great sound. Makes it a bit tricky as the back speakers need to be plugged in, but I’m thinking as good a quality as a high priced system.

It’s like a theater in my living room
I like the size sound quality is good easy to connect bluetooth or auxiliary it’s not boom boom bass but thump enough, it’s like a theater in my living room especially with my 130 inch projector screen.

    Not true surround sound
It’s not true surround sound. Get the upgraded A60.I’m returning it and I just installed Ultima’s A60 model, the difference is night and day. Just to test it out, I put on a Disney movie and I’m hearing dialogue from speakers in the front while I’m hearing music and atmosphere from speakers in the rear. That wasn’t true with this model. This model I could hear everything coming from the rear speakers at the same time as the front speakers. The A60 is only about $70-$80 more, then you’ll get true surround sound.

    Low volume
The audio is so low.. even on 100, it isn’t loud enough. Wish I returned it was I was able to. Now I have to buy another one.

    Midgrade soundbar.
Definitely your BUDGET soundbar set. Dont know why its getting all these 4 and 5 STARS, its very midgrade. I mean it does the job but its nowhere near as good as the VIZIO 5.1 soundbar for $90 more. I went from the VIZIO to this and its a definite downgrade. The base is BARELY noticeable. The “settings” on the remote dont really make to much of a difference. If you switch from “movie” to “sports” to “talk” the difference in minimal. This is a soundbar you wanna get for your kids room NOT to impress your friends with a theater experience. I mean, what do we expect for $119. Im even contemplating returning this and getting the VIZIO

    Really good for the price
Sound bar does sound pretty good once you tune it right, has an easy to use app and works really well, only downside is the subwoofer isn’t super strong and the lower end bass notes suffer, but other than that I recommend it

These were easy to set up on my own Samsung TV. I had another set, which I gave to my neighbour and with her Bush, it was more complicated. Hers did not have a PCM setting, so I had to play around to get them working. These have 3 input options, I realised, so you can also use them as bluetooth speakers for your phone, and they have an Aux socket. You plug in the sound bar, connect it up and pair it. Then you plug the sub woofer into the sound bar. The right rear speaker is plugged in to a socket, and connected to the other one, with a cable, then they connect automatically to the system, which worked fine. So this requires 2 electrical outlets not too far away. The cables are not labelled, so you have to figure it out by trial and error, but there’s only one that fits for each. Instructions are a bit basic, no detailed trouble shooting info. There’s no AUX cable included, although this is an option, if you use your own.You get two sets of plastic mounting brackets, with fixtures, which are static, so you cannot adjust the angle.I was surprised at the sound quality, and these are quite loud, too. While I’ve never had one of these before, I have experience of excellent systems, and this compares very well for the price bracket. I am sure aficionados would have niggles, but these make the experience far more immersive and the subwoofer is quite good. Compared to the built-in ones, this is a huge upgrade. These are not Dolby, of course, and this is their range for smaller spaces, so entry level.I like that they are controlled with an app, and you have all sorts of options to fiddle with. But you also get a remote, and they seem largely interchangeable, so you can do most stuff with the app.Everything is compact and looks sleek and discreet. I think these are good value. This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion. I try to use or test all products, or if I can’t, I at least check them. You can see my rating system on my public profile under my bio, as I don’t want to add it to every review.

I really do like how this can be connected to an App so that you can customise your sound, thus perfect for those movie nights where you really want to enjoy being immersed into the movie moments. Most thundering experiences watching them dinosaur movies as they thump through and the surround sounds kick in, really sits you into the centre of experience. The build quality of the speakers are great, although they don’t look exciting, they do hold the advantage of blending into the rest of your setup, thus perfect for having a simple yet effective sound system. The rear speakers are wireless, powered by a supplied mains power supply that links both rear speakers together and comes pre-paired with the front unit.I didn’t get round to testing the USB or Aux leads, but Bluetooth and Optical quality is very good and as such can recommend this setup. What you may find, and there is a slight lacking on this, is that there isn’t enough of a stereo separation with all the speakers compounded into one central unit.

So impressed by this set. I’ve been making do with my stock speakers in the TV as I have tried soundbars before which claim to have a good virtual surround sound but have always been let down. I’ve not gone to a proper 5.1 system as I never wanted to drag cables from the front speakers to the rear as I wouldn’t be able to hide the cables well. Then this comes in with the ability to wireless connect the rear ones to the system. You still need a cable between the rear ones but that’s easy to hide.Setup took around 15 minutes and now I’ve got an incredible sound. More than enough power to watch anything, I am no where near the max volume and have no distortion at all. Couldn’t be happier.

I recently upgraded my TV setup with the ULTIMEA 5.1 Surround Soundbar System, and I’m genuinely impressed. If you’re after a home cinema experience that doesn’t break the bank, this system is a solid choice.First of all, the setup was incredibly straightforward. Everything you need is in the box, and the app control is a brilliant touch. It’s easy to adjust the settings, including the volume, bass, and sound modes, without having to reach for the remote every time. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection is stable and quick, which means I can stream music or podcasts in seconds, without any annoying dropouts. The sound is where this system truly shines. The 5.1 surround sound brings a whole new level of immersion to movies and TV shows. The subwoofer gives deep, rich bass that you can feel, while the rear speakers fill the room with a truly cinematic soundstage. Whether you’re watching a fast-paced action film or a more subtle drama, the sound clarity and depth are spot on. Plus, the adjustable bass means you can fine-tune it to your liking – no more thumping bass that drowns out dialogue! The system has plenty of power (250W peak), and it’s loud enough to fill my living room without distortion, even at higher volumes. The OPT and AUX inputs are great for connecting a variety of devices, whether that’s a TV, console, or even an older stereo setup.Aesthetically, it’s sleek and unobtrusive, fitting perfectly beneath my TV. The design feels modern without being too bulky or flashy, and I love that the speakers and subwoofer all match in terms of finish. For the price, this is hands down one of the best home cinema sound systems I’ve tried. It delivers premium sound, easy connectivity, and superb control, all in one tidy package. If you want to elevate your TV viewing experience, the ULTIMEA 5.1 Soundbar is a great choice.

This Ultimea soundbar comes boxed with accessories and instructions. The soundbar takes a number of different inputs including optical and 3.5mm but not HDMI. This is annoying as while my projector can connect via optical cable, I get no audio so I have to use Bluetooth. This I guess is because I can’t set the audio to PCM, which is what I have to do to get the soundbar to work with my TV via the optical cable. The soundbar can be app controlled as well as remote controlled, with a variety of presets and EQ modes. Build quality seems pretty good. The soundbar is relatively small but has a good weight to it. The subwoofer is more bulky while the rear speakers are small. The top of the soundbar has touch buttons which are reasonably responsive and sound quality is decent. However, this is a virtual 5.1 setup and not an actual 5.1 setup so while I would agree that it makes stereo content sound much better, with a signal that’s 5.1 in the first place results can be variable. However, sound mixing these days tends to drown out dialogue which is often mumbly and indistinct anyway so I can’t blame the soundbar for that. While I would have preferred actual 5.1 and an HDMI eARC connection, overall I am very happy with this soundbar. It doesn’t take up too much space, is easy to operate and really boosts the sound when I am watching movies or music videos.
