Makes file lugging a little more enjoyable
I picked this up for some book-keeping run arounds, where I need to transport some paperwork, and it needs to stay pretty organized despite being light. This is great. The accordion inside is a light, clear plastic—nothing special but fulfils it’s purpose. This offers enough room for the sections I need. The case is then zipped up and around on three sides to make sure it gives complete access. There is a pocket on either side on the outside of the case (built-in) to store the handles or slide in a slender notebook and such. There is also a zippered pocket on the side, which is again section inside to allow for transporting very slender items such as pens, sticky note pad, and such.The cloth is sturdy enough…it won’t hold forever but is perfectly fine for the price and purpose. It has a nice appearance, is practical, and does what I wanted it to do.

One design flaw, but mostly great.
*If I could do 4.5, I would, but here we go; let’s call it a 4+ stars*HANDLES, TRANSPORT: great. the handles are a dream — they feel good, they’re just the right length and width, and they can tuck away whenever. it’s very comfortable to hold the organizer like a briefcase, even when full of papers and such.THICKNESS, CAPACITY: also great. the measurements listed in the product photos are accurate. it really is ~one and a half or so at the base of the accordion but is still malleable overall. it is structured but not too stiff like a portfolio book or covered binder might be. each pocket appears to be able to hold quite a bit and if unused, the pockets aren’t protruding or taking up space unnecessarily.FUNCTION, ORGANIZATION: this is where I deduct points. as some have stated, the stickers aren’t super amazing. It would have been nicer to have tab-styles you could insert a label into, I imagine, but then you’d run into the issue of them falling out… so I’m not sure there is a “perfect” solution there yet, but I’m gonna find it. (I think it involves sharpies or erasable pilot pens, but we’ll see). the real disappointment for me is that the file pockets are more so dividers in that they do not have individual bottoms like folders do. they all share a small bit of space at their base against the structure of the organizer. it’s a void of about 0.5″. this means if you had to randomly store a trinket like pocket change into the organizer, it would likely be free-floating. You could not drop paperclips into it, for instance, or a chain for a necklace, etc; they would just become a sea on the bottom of your papers-and-stuff. this wasn’t my expectation. however, there is a pocket on either side on the outside to slip things into, and one of those is zippered fully, so you can still use that. so it really depends on your full expectation of it as a file FOLDERS organizer or a simple accordion divider… and this expectation may or may not be yours.at this time, I haven’t been able to fully fill and use it for my intended purpose (work travel) but I still expect it to meet my basic needs. I should know in about a week whether or not I’ll keep or return, but I’m leaning toward “begrudgingly keep” right now. the black was on sale when I purchased, which makes it more worthwhile to just keep it versus anything else, and I really do like the look and feel.

A good file organizer
This was a good choice for what I needed. It holds all my files. It is very durable. The color is good—very little stickiness.

Better than expected
This file brief is just what I need. There are certain files and papers I need handy and this fits the bill perfectly and it is pretty too. I have some specialty folders and they work well with this file brief, i put sticky notes, and small paper in a file and access it easily without all the search 👀 all over. It opens wide and has two side slits to stash a pen, phone, or small object, I slide the handle down into them. You can file your media with your documents pull the whole file out with it being snagged by the file brief because it doesn’t open wide enough.
