Very practical tech
It’s actually really cool how it works. You really don’t have to think about it. Just start using it and it’s appears on the app. Very nicely done. I ordered weekly planers. I have been using their weekly planers for over 10 years and I’m excited to have digital copy of it going forward. Well done.

Where is Moleskin Support ?
It appears to have features not fully baked yet. It seems to be filled with almost and kind of works but NEVER quite delivers. It’s a notepad that is really just a little better than an actual notepad. Search, Transcription and conversions are really a JOKE. Timelapse is for what? The other BIG problem is their support is AI generated with a lot of human words but little meaning and real HELP. Almost ZERO understanding. They start with many half truths or lies and expand and exaggerate its capabilities. I think the engineer started with a great idea but their Leadership refused to support them and just gave up for the quick buck. AI will continue this path and it is very sad our Society has no clue what it will end up being. You put Crap in you get Crap out. Moleskin is just exposing the big flaw and it is what it is. It is NOT a product that was advertised , so look elsewhere. Good Luck

Absolute Garbage | Don’t Waste Your Money
Complete waste of money. This is a comparison of my actual notebook page vs what was recognized by the “smart pen” and available to view digitally in the notes app vs what was “transcribed” from handwriting to text. I am a nurse practitioner and I purchased this for work to take notes during patient encounters—A. So that I have a digital copy of my notes and B. To try to cut down on charting time by transcribing my written text to typed text. I’m so upset I spent hundreds on this and it’s literally no different than the $5 notebook and $1 pen I have used for note taking the last year. I wish I had just spent more money and gotten the Remarkable tablet.

I have this device and it’s trash.Very buggy app. Moleskine will not fix the bugs. You will regret buying it.

Quick and easy setup

Ich arbeite im ambulanten sozialen Bereich und war auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit handschriftliche Dokumentationen parallel oder direkt digital zu erfassen. Dabei bin ich auf das Moleskine Smart Writing Set gestoßen. Preislich sehr attraktiv und wie ein normales Notizbuch zu benutzen. Zum Einsatz kommen zudem normale D1 Mienen. Die Handhabung ist denkbar einfach. Die App auf dem Smartphone installieren und dann den Stift einmalig koppeln. Der Stift aktiviert sich in den Smart Notizbüchern selbstständig und erfasst so sofort Text, Skizzen usw. Die Genauigkeit der Erfassung ist beeindruckend. Kleinste Anmerkungen werden sauber dokumentiert. Die Seiten genau erfasst. Spätere Ergänzungen werden dementsprechend seitenrichtig zugeordnet. Erforderlich sind dabei allerdings die Smart Notizbücher. Die OCR-Funktion ist abhängig von der Handschrift. Bei gut erkennbaren Buchstaben / Wörtern ist sie erstaunlich genau. Die Weiterverarbeitung in der Textverarbeitung somit gut möglich. Fazit: Ich bin begeistert. Ein empfehlenswertes und praxistaugliches System.
