VALUE: cheapest way to add a lot of low end to your system
I would consider myself a cost-effective audiophile, and therefore consider this a great value. The Rock Shaker 10 provides a lot of bass that you really feel in your chest. If the price was higher ($145 in 2025), then maybe I would consider taking a star for the bass being a bit loose. By the way, studio quality powered subs start at $200, use a smaller woofer and won’t pack as much punch, but they will be cleaner, so you have to consider what matters most to you and your budget. It has gain and low pass filter knobs to get the sound just the way you need it in your setup. It can take rca or speaker wire and pass the raw signal to another amp or speaker. In fact, I’m writing this review as I am considering adding another one in the same basement to add another 300W RMS on the opposite wall using the rca outputs to help fill the 30’x30′ space. In a smaller room, you wouldn’t need another. This sub WILL shake your room and you’ll have rattles in the floor above at even setting the gain at 50%. I highly recommend this powered sub!About my setup:Mixer: Behringer Flow8Amp: AIYIMA A07Speakers: 2 x Jamo Cornet 40 IVSub: Rockville Rock Shaker 10Soundpath: Computer > Mixer > Sub > Amp > Speakers

It’s worth the money and it has mega bass!!!!
The sound Quality is amazing it’s 600 watts it puts out like it’s 800 or better depending on your setup I have a receiver hooked up to it (Rack system)as well as 2 tower speakers with 2 10″ speakers in each tower,it’s fully adjustable from the speaker to whatever your in source is,it’s worth the price and then some, and it looks good wherever it’s at,very easy to use and if you like bass, this got ya,Thanks Rockville now I can play my music LOUD!!!!!

Maximum bang for your buck
Perfect match for the Rockville RockShelf 68W 6.5″ Home Bookshelf Speakers. Powered the bookshelf speakers with the Fosi Audio BT20A. This system will satisfy anyone who loves great sound quality but isn’t concerned with minor performance improvements that come with the major increases in cost associated with big-name brands. It will shake your living room just fine.

Very good subwoofer for the price
I ordered the 10″ Rockville to pair with my Paradigm Atom speakers. The Paradigms are excellent speakers with good definition and clarity, but they can’t get below 50 Hz. or so. I bought the 10″ sub because I knew that anything smaller would just muddy up the upper bass frequencies. I set the crossover control all the way down at 50 Hz. and set the volume to about 1/3 – 1/2. I was very pleasantly surprised at the performance, especially at low volumes. It’s nice having that last octave and a half back after using these Paradigms for about 2 months.I’ve read some bad reviews here for this speaker. I’ve also seen pictures here of a speaker completely blown out of the cabinet and I can’t help wondering what these people have left for hearing! I wonder if these are the people that drive down the street in Jeeps with 5000 watt subwoofer setups shaking everyone’s dinner plates within 6 blocks. If so, that would explain why they can’t hear.If you have reasonable hearing and have a clue what to do with a subwoofer, this is an inexpensive addition to any small speaker setup that needs a little help on the bottom end. It comes with low-level AND high-level inputs/outputs so you can hook it up to most systems with no additional parts needed. I hooked mine up using the high-level inputs/outputs and had it set up in minutes and playing some demanding tunes. The reason I subtracted a star is because of the crossover control. It doesn’t really behave like a true crossover control in that it’s more of a shelf control. It seems to only affect the frequencies passed to the subwoofer and not the frequencies passed to the main speakers. If you turn up the frequency too high, the bass starts getting real muddy with the main speakers covering much of the same frequencies as the subwoofer. It’s not a deal breaker in my case because I have it turned as low as it can go, but may be of interest to others. I have not checked the behavior on the low-level inputs/outputs so I don’t know about them. The construction seems solid and it works well with it’s auto-off function turning the speaker off after several minutes without signal. It removes the need to pull out the speaker to reach behind it and turn it off when not using it.I’ve only had it a few days so if I have any problems with it I’ll edit my review, but for right now it’s 2 thumbs up.

This thing THUMPS! Rockville Rock Shaker 10 Black 600W Powered Subwoofer
I have the Rockville One-bar sound bar and recently purchased a 75 inch tv. While the soundbar sounds great on its own, I felt the need for something more. A powered subwoofer. I went with Rockville again because they are priced right and didn’t want a mixed system. My only problem…no way to hook up the sub to my soundbar. With the help of the seller we came up with a plan that works great. Had to order a HDMI ARC Audio Extractor. Connected ARC in from the TV, optical out from the Audio Extractor to the Soundbar and RCA out to the Subwoofer. The Rockville Rock Shaker 10 Black 600W Powered Subwoofer was exactly what was needed! Adjusted the frequency to blend in where the soundbar fades off and movies feel more realistic. This thing thumps! Nice deep bass…I didn’t notice any distortion at the volume I was using. So far, I’m very happy with my purchase

Shakes my man cave up. Sounds great!
I’ve been using this sub woofer for several months now and loving it. I installed it in my man cave on my surround sound system and it shakes the whole room. Hookup was as easy as plugging in the wires and the electrical plug. I haven’t had any problems at all so far and the price was right.

Es bueno, pero le falta calidad en la fabricación y en sonido. Ademas de que es muy ligero.
