Easy to setup, strong magnetic case, questionable waterproofing…
This would be a 5 star review, but the included case that is supposed to make the device waterproof doesn’t close tightly once it has been assembled. There is a tiny gap on either side where the lid has bowed out due to the device being in there. I did try flipping the “airtag” over and that actually seemed to make the gap bigger, so…Aside from that, the setup in Apple’s Find My app was as easy as could be, the device was responsive and made the chiming noise when I requested it through the app. I didn’t use any of the other included accessories, but they are a welcome addition to add versatility.Risking the possibility of poor waterproofing, but wanting an inconspicuous place to hide this tracker on my car, I opted to attach it above the rear hatch on my SUV – outside the weather gasket of the opening, but inside/under the door panel, hidden from sight unless its open. It’s sitting next to the conduit for the rear brake light wiring, if that makes sense. I’ll try to remember to add a picture. Even with the door open, it is not readily identified as it just looks like another part of the car being of similar looking black plastic.I am very happy with how strong the magnet is holding it in place – I don’t think there is much of a chance for it to be dislodged.We’ll see if it gets water inside the case or gets dislodged next time I go through the car wash and I’ll update my review with the results.Nice little kit for the price – could save you from a very bad day if your car gets stolen, or help you find it if you have a bad memory lol.Easily recommended, especially if you don’t need it to be waterproof beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Durable, connects easily, use zip ties for bicycle mounting
This was very easy to mount and connect to my iPhone. Just open the “find my” app and add “other” device. I tested it mounted to my bicycle on a trip to San Francisco. Even with my bicycle in the bicycle racks on the train, it still detected as ‘traveling with’ me. This gave me a lot of peace of mind, as I could see my bicycle traveling with me on the train. Battery life should be excellent, and last about a year, considering this uses CR2032 batteries.The mounting case is extremely durable. I mounted it underneath my bicycle rack. While riding over a particularly harsh bump at high speed on Market St, it did fall off and go rolling down the street. I think that any magnet probably wouldn’t be able to hold it under such harsh conditions, and on a car with shock absorbers this isn’t an issue. Even though it fell on the street, it still looks brand new. It told me I had been separated from the device, and showed me where it was on my map. I was able to retrieve the device from the street.Great value, highly functional, connectivity is great. I would definitely mount these with the zip ties when using a bicycle, as no magnet is going to do well under those conditions. It doesn’t disconnect like some of my other third party trackers. Highly recommend this.

Waterproof claims debatable
This tracker has many ways to attach to a vehicle as the case has holes to thread a zip tie through or for screws. It can also attach via magnets (which are pretty strong and need to be pried off my dryer). It works like and has similar features to an AirTag (minus the UWB feature) and uses the same app (no separate app whose name you will forget). This means that it relies on Bluetooth accuracy and does not have its own GPS receiver (title is misleading). Battery life is suspect since immediately after removing the tab to start using the tracker, my iOS device already reported that the battery level is low. Additionally, despite the screw being tightened all of the way, a gap is still visible in the middle of the case, leading me to question its claim of being waterproof.Photos show the tracker next to a AA battery for reference.

great mount DOA tracker
Gave it 2 starts as the mount was great but the tracker wouldn’t work even with a new battery. I did use the mount for my extra apple tracker I had and it worked great too hide it in my boat with easy and seems to hold up to the ruff waters as well.

Small and easy to conceal
Easy to conceal so that you can make sure you never lose an asset ever again, just be sure you actually have an apple device to use it. The magnetic case makes it to where you can place the tracker almost anywhere.

This is one of those products that feels pricey at first glance, but once you get it in hand you realize it’s absolutely worth it. The build quality is outstanding—thick, sturdy material with a super strong magnet that really holds in place. this works once and then fell off. not a very good value in my opinion.
It connected once, but the instruction manual that it comes with doesn’t give you very good advice on how to reconnect. I tried resetting it like the instructions said, it wasn’t very easy to figure out. I still have yet to connect it again. So it doesn’t seem to be working very well but when it did it was fast and accurate. But at the same time, the software didn’t work very good. It is of medium to high quality. But you get what you pay for.
