Product description

【Dual-Channel Energy Monitoring】 This smart home energy monitor features two independent high-capacity sensing channels, allowing you to track real-time electricity usage of major household circuits and high-power appliances such as central air conditioners, EV chargers, water heaters, and electric dryers.
【Real-Time Monitoring & Usage Insights】 Works with the Tuya or Smart Life app to provide real-time visibility into household electricity usage. Monitor key electrical data such as power, voltage, current, and power factor, and review historical energy records by hour, day, month, or year to better understand usage patterns and reduce energy costs.
【Bi-Directional Energy Tracking】 Supports bi-directional power monitoring, helping track electricity flow in homes with solar panels, backup power systems, or mixed load scenarios. Provides clearer insight into both energy consumption and overall power flow.
【Simplified Setup】 Designed for streamlined installation, this smart home energy monitor uses clamp-style sensors that attach externally to monitored circuits without cutting or modifying wires. Follow the in-app guidance to connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and complete setup through the Tuya or Smart Life app.
【Broad Home Compatibility】 Designed for common residential electrical setups. Suitable for standard household circuits as well as homes with solar panels, backup power systems, or higher-capacity electrical loads, helping monitor electricity usage across different home energy configurations.

Horribly inaccurate and inconsistent.
Horribly inaccurate and inconsistent. Even if you calibrate this, your readings will still very quite a bit… even under steady-state conditions.I had mine measuring the input power to a transformer. Even under no load, this piece of junk was registering a powerfactor swing of 0.03 up to 0.12. Thats a swing of plus or minus ~71%! So the measured active power was swinging wildly as well. Again, with no load connected!Even those cheap kill-a-watt meters are way better than this. Far more accurate and consistent. Based on my experience, the margin of error on this device is so large id consider it useless. Save yourself the time and effort and look elsewhere.

Good product but documentation is not good.
I bought 2 of the energy monitors, 1 for myself (furnace and A/C ) and the 2nd for my daughter (HVAC and Well Pump). i hooked mine up first and it was going well for about 1 month, then I moved it while working on the panel and it stopped working! It turns out that they are temperamental but once you get them correctly adjusted, they work Great. The documentation isn’t very good for trouble shooting so i turned to CoPilot. I explained the problem and WE had it back up and running properly. They are complicated to setup properly. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Iy id well worth the price. I paid for a yearly subscription to have it track $ for me. Lots of other features to be explored in the subscription.

Good potential, could be better
The physical device and connection to my WiFi worked fine, but the App’s energy monitor graph function is fairly limited. I got it to monitor my septic pump, so i could track when the pump is on, and I was hoping to see how often the pump was activating. But the energy usage only plots one data point per hour, so it doesn’t provide a very detailed view. With an app improvement I’d recommend it more.

no istructions that make sense, but works really well once you figure it out
once you figure out how to use it (the instructions are pathetic) it works like a charm
