Easy to install works great
This is a review for the immediate, not long term. I just received my order in about 12 hours. I set this up in less than 5 minutes and it’s great. I bought this for my kids room and his art table. I wanted something bright and completely out of the way and this lamp is perfect for that. It’s very flexible and lightweight and very easy to install. I believe there are about 4 or 5 different lighting options, a timer and a dimmer or brighten option. The added bonus is they add a wall port so you can use it immediately instead of trying to find an old one you have laying around. I feel like it’s pretty good quality as long as your kid is old enough not to mess with it and it’s very stable since you install it yourself to the desired tightening. I have zero complaints and would order more for other desks.

All Good except 1 Big Thing
TLDR: Solid build, good light quality, useful brightness and color controls, and a swing arm that does most of what you want. The big catch is that it does not behave the way modern smart home users will expect, and the mounting geometry has some real-world limits the listing photos do not show. Four stars, with caveats worth knowing before you click buy.Let me lead with the good, because there is plenty of it.The light itself is genuinely nice. Plenty of brightness for working, reading, or close-up tasks, and the color temperature options give you warm yellow, neutral white, and a cooler white-blue depending on what you are doing. Eleven brightness levels is more granularity than I expected. The arm extends and folds well, and the head pivots to put light right where you want it. It runs on USB, the wall adapter is included, and the wattage is low enough that you can power it from a laptop port if that is convenient. The clamp mount is solid and holds tight once you have it in place.A note on installation. The clamp wants a specific amount of mounting surface, and my location had less than the lamp wanted in one direction. I pulled out a Dremel and shaved a small relief into the underside so the clamp could sit properly. Not a complaint, just a heads up if your desk has a thick lip, a beveled edge, or a rounded corner where you want this to live.Now, the big thing.This lamp does not default to on when power is restored. If you turn it off and walk away, fine. If your power blips, or if you have it on a smart switch that cuts power, the lamp comes back off. To turn it back on you have to walk over to the lamp and press the little button on the inline cord controller, which sits close to the base of the arm and is not always easy to reach.This matters because the listing advertises a memory function, and modern buyers, especially anyone with a smart home setup, are going to read that and assume something it does not actually mean. Here is what is happening. The memory function does work, in a narrow sense. When you press the on button, the lamp comes back at whatever brightness and color mode you used last. It does not have to be reset every time. That is real and it is useful.What the memory function does not do is preserve the on/off state across a power cut. The reason is that this is a soft-touch push button rather than a mechanical switch. The lamp’s electronics have to be powered to know they are on, and when power is removed and restored the default state is off. A traditional mechanical switch physically holds the circuit closed and is why your bedroom lamp comes back on when the power flickers. This one does not, by design.If you live in a fully manual lighting world, this is a non-issue. You will press the button and life goes on. If you have your office lights on a smart switch, or you have ever said the words “Google (or Alexa), turn on the lights,” this is going to be an ongoing minor annoyance. I had assumed, like most lights, that I could plug this into the same smart switch as the rest of the room and have it come on with everything else. Instead it sits there dark while everything else lights up, waiting for me to walk over and poke it.The other thing worth flagging is the arm geometry. The first segment, the one closest to the clamp, is not designed to swing forward. It folds up and back, which is fine on an open desk where you have empty wall behind you. If you are mounting this on the back edge of a desk that sits against a wall, on the lip of a hutch, on top of a shelving unit, or inside a cubicle, you are going to discover that the elbow needs room to bow outward behind the lamp. The listing photos all show the lamp on an open desk with nothing behind it, so this is not obvious until you have it in hand. Plan your mounting location with that in mind.There is also a 45 minute auto-off timer button on the controller. Apparently aimed at bedtime reading. I have not used it but it is there if you want it.Four stars. The light is good and the build is good. The memory function exists but means something different than a smart home buyer will assume, and the mounting flexibility has limits that the listing does not show. If you can live with those, this is a nice lamp at a fair price. If you were hoping to drop it into an automated lighting routine, you are going to want to know about the default-off behavior before you order.

Perfect for my bench setup
It turned out to be the perfect above work bench lights. I loved my first one so much I ordered a second shortly after. I need to figure out a better outlet situation 😅 but the light itself is great and adjusts wherever I need it to go and is perfect for my space.

There are better options
This lamp is decent; however, I would personally say it’s a little overpriced for what you get. It seems sturdy with some decent weight to it, has good brightness/coverage, and offers a fair variety of color modes (although they don’t cycle in an intuitive order). The “assembly” instructions in the manual are essentially nonexistent, but luckily that doesn’t really matter too much since the lamp comes 95% pre-assembled. The lamp controls are built into the cord, but they’re located 12″ or so down the wire so it might feel a little inconvenient in some situations.The “memory function” technically works, but only if you turn the lamp on/off with the button on the lamp cord… i.e. if you plan to plug this lamp into an outlet that is connected to a wall light switch, the memory function will NOT work. It will not turn back on from using a wall switch and will require that you press the on/off button on the lamp cord before it turns on again (and even if you do that it won’t remember your last settings anyway). And since that’s what I wanted to do with mine, I had to return it unfortunately.I would definitely advise avoiding this lamp if you were planning to turn it on/off with a light switch, but if that isn’t the case I still probably wouldn’t recommend it given the higher-than-average price considering it has a few minor problems that I haven’t encountered with some other options.

Super lampada, non ha una luminosità estrema se cercate tanta luce ma è ottima per una scrivania dove poter studiare o lavorare.L’intensità maggiore ha comunque una buona potenza che è più che sufficiente per qualsiasi esigenza da tavolo.Con l’attacco a “morsa” occupa veramente poco spazio.
