Awesome product and awesome price! I replaced my Ring doorbell due to concerns privacy. I wanted a video doorbell that did not require cloud storage, and this one with a 128GB microSD card (purchased separately) was the perfect choice. Set up and installation was a breeze, but I think the instructions could have been clearer or ordered differently so that the description of how to remove the mounting plate was the first thing presented. Sharing the doorbell for alerts with other family members was easy. All the have to do is install the app, create an account (don’t set up any devices), then you scan their QR code (they get it in the app) in the app and it invites them to share. Easy to add and share additional cameras, and you can choose which cameras to share to whom. Also the included chime can be paired with multiple Boifun doorbells or multiple chimes can be paired to a single or multiple doorbells. Neat feature. Motion detection works great and is fast to alert you, and I haven’t gotten any false alerts. You will get motion notification before the person rings the bell which is great. The picture quality is noticeably better than my Ring doorbell. The security voice changing feature is nice and also amusing. I can’t recommend this highly enough. I like this so much I bought the J7 doorbell with the super wide angle lens as well!

My house has (had) one of the whole house intercoms that included a doorbell. The system quit working some time ago, and the exterior speaker dry-rotted. I tried an inexpensive (chime only) doorbell, but it worked inconsistently due to the range to the receiver.I had a couple of other BOIFUN cameras, so I decided to try their doorbell camera. Physical installation is easy. They give you both screws and adhesive strips to use. I chose to not drill holes in my siding, so I used siding clips and a piece of wood (to be painted). I mounted the doorbell base to the wood with screws and snapped in the doorbell . This also lets me move the camera around, if I am not happy with the location.BOIFUN says you can use either their app or the CloudEdge app. I used the BOIFUN app. Activation and pairing of the doorbell and connection to the wifi network is a breeze. The instructions are pretty clear and there are plenty of color indicators and sounds to let you know you are successful for a given step.The performance is great! My door is about 30 feet from the road, so I was concerned about false triggers with passing cars or bike riders. However I reduced the sensitivity and I do not get any false notifications. The picture quality is very, very good. The app let me customize the zone where I want motion detection notification and video capture. I like that I get imagery of motion detection AND when the doorbell is pressed. Delivery people and others trip the motion detection but may not ring the bell. There is even a small remote speaker that you can place on a shelf that chimes (you can choose from a list of sounds/tunes) when the doorbell is pressed. When the doorbell is pressed, I get a notification on my phone. I can ‘answer’ the notification and have a conversation with the person, or I can have a pre-recorded voicemail be played. I can also decide to reject the request and not respond. I’ve attached a few photos and a video from testing. The doorbell even has night vision!Sharing access to the doorbell and the recorded images is super easy. BOIFUN lets you add someone else by entering their account, or scanning a QR code. Each person is required to download the app and create an account. Rather than add a camera to their account, there is a QR code in the app on their phone that I ( as ‘administrator/owner’) scan using my BOIFUN app. This creates the link and allows sharing. This can be just viewing, or full access and control for family or friends.Certainly based on my old system, this is a HUGE improvement. I now have a working doorbell – range is no longer an issue since it uses wifi to send notifications to my phone. AND I get photo/video (great quality) of the encounter. Given the customization of the app, I cannot imagine a situation where you couldn’t make it work. When I bought mine, there was a discount, which made the price more attractive.

Sonnette de qualité. SAV rapide et de qualité également. Nous avions un soucis sur le carillon reçu qui n’arrivait pas a se connecter avec la sonnette. 2 jours après signalement au SAV et ayant essayé des reconfiguration via des conseils très détaillés + vidéo, nous avons reçu un nouveau colis dans la boîte aux lettres. Installation ok, simple et efficace 👍 très bonne qualité pour une sonnette, et détection de mouvement au top 👍

Ho deciso di acquistare questo prodotto, perché ho preso delle telecamere solari da esterno dello stesso brand e mi sono trovato davvero molto bene, per cui ho deciso di provare anche questo prodotto. Dopo averlo provato in tutte le sue funzioni descritte, ora posso fare sicuramente una recensione obiettiva. Buona la confezione: è arrivato davvero ben confezionato, la scatola aveva anche un involucro di plastica trasparente esterno e dentro c’è tutto quel che serve. Viti, tasselli, biadesivo e, un pin per smontare il case esterno. Il case si smonta solo con questo accessorio, sennò non si può smontare, questo dovrebbe dissuadere i malintenzionati dallo smontarlo. Ha un design molto piacevole che si adatta a tutti gli stili, moderno e non. Installazione super veloce e molto semplice, servono davvero 5 minuti. Dopo averlo collegato al wifi e configurato e, fatto il collegamento all’app, ho collegato anche il ripetitore in casa, ne ho provato tutte le funzioni. La visione dalla videocamera del citofono è perfetta. Si vede tutto, si ha un ottima visuale e il campo visivo è davvero notevole. Il PIR funziona bene e si attiva ogni volta che vede anche un piccolo movimento, dandone comunicazione tramite notifica. Il suono della suoneria del campanello si può modificare e impostare anche il volume. La notifica quando il campanello suona viene ricevuta immediatamente, e si può rispondere dal cellulare anche se si è assenti, come se ci si trovasse in casa. Personalmente lo trovo un ottimo acquisto, soprattutto perché il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto alto. Lo posso tranquillamente consigliare e chi ha esigenze uguali a quelle da me richieste. Ottimo acquisto.
