A must buy! Smooth and easy pairing!
Install was supper fast! I wired into the ignition (switch) power so it’s only on when bike is on.Red (infotainment wire) to ignition power wire, black (infotainment wire) grounded to headlight bucket. Definitely a must have for me as I want to stay off of highways and tour some North Austin Texas countryside when cruising. Screen is bright, Legible in the sun and dimmable at night. Works great paired with my Lexin G2P headset and IPhone. Siri, talk to text, wireless CarPlay, Pandora, Waze, Apple Music, Google Maps, Bluetooth all work great and is smooth when touched. I opted for the 5”. To me it’s a perfect minimalist size for my 72’ Honda cb350 cafe racer. Looks like there’s a TPM sensor callout as well. I’ll look into possibly getting the sensors if available. It also supports android. I have not tried but I’m sure it works great as well. Feels good knowing I can keep my phone in pocket and not have to worry about it shaking on the bike or killing the battery using GPS.

Nice option for Apple Carplay, major disappointment for Android Auto
To be fair, I returned this unit because it did not play will with Android Auto. I did test with Apple Carplay and it worked perfectly.Pros:Super fast startupVariable automatic display brightness with user set min and max levels.Cool little floating button on the display to easily go to the home page or manually adjust brightness.Very bright screen, easy to see in direct sunlightSolid magnetic mount for quick removal.Cons: (only applies to Android Auto)Unable to send Bluetooth audio to anything.Unable to read text messages over BluetoothUnable to accept voice commands over Bluetooth.I was more than a little frustrated that this unit couldn’t really handle Android Auto. If I were eating based on Android Auto alone it would be two stars. However, Apple Carplay worked perfectly, and there were some other features that I really liked. If Apple Carplay only, 5 stars.In case you are wondering, I purchased a different brand and it worked perfectly with my Android Auto. I think the issue here is with how Bluetooth was implemented. If for Android Auto you will need something that can support two Bluetooth connections, either connect headset directly to unit, or BT transmission mode to pass the info through.

It works better than the factory one in my suv
I have used this three times on my Harley so far. It was so very easy to install, and it worked flawlessly the very first time. Even in direct sunlight, it can be seen clearly. I can’t believe how good it is for the price.

Very pleased with the purchase. Good value. The CarPlay functions works well with my phone. I utilized my own ball mount. I can now store my phone away.

Great unit. Don’t wire it to usb.
Originally wired it to a usb and it didn’t work. Realized usb only puts out 5v so I rewired it to a keyed power supply and now it works great. Only taken a couple of rides so far but I can definitely recommend it. I bolted the bar clamp directly to the rally tower on my DR650.

My riding season is just beginning but so far it works great. Mounting it next to the clutch reservoir makes it easy to see the display on sunny days.

Consider Alternatives – No Customization and No Updates
BLUF: It does what it’s supposed to do – it is a Wireless Android Auto / CarPlay display that, in my experience, connects easily. The display is responsive enough, clear enough, and the mount sturdy enough.Why the 2 star review, then?I like my doodads to have more customizability than this does. I cannot fathom why they bothered to put an SD slot on this device when there is NO mechanism by which you can check for firmware updates – no website and searches for “YZW” bring only bring up Amazon. This is a generic device – probably made using some generic Chinese board which is, in itself, not an indictment. But YZW – or whoever supports them – will tell you NOTHING about if there is or ever will be firmware updates. That’s a deal breaker for me. What that tells me is that this device is a one-and-done endeavor: it is what it is the day you buy it and will never be anything different.Additionally, competing units allow customization of the launcher and the startup image. I know those are a little nitpicky – but if you’re like me and you customize every detail of your ride – you want your screen to show something akin to what it’s mounted to. This unit does not appear customizable in any way.Long story short – it does what it should – just not well enough to purchase.
