So far it’s doing good. Learning how to use it. The only drawback I have to make 2 cups to get a 10 ounce cup of hot water since it only dispenses 4 ounce at a time.

Is it expensive, definitely. Is it worth it, so far, yes! The fact this grinds beans and has built in cleaning processes makes operating and maintaining very simple and convenient.

I used one similar to this and it was just a lot better. This one the volume settings are all the same. you don’t even get a full cup on the largest setting. It’s also not hot enough, I like my drinks hot hot. I was really hoping I’d love this, but unfortunately the bean grinder isn’t worth $500 to me.

Professional Quality Espresso Machine
I bought this Electactic espresso maker for some very specific reasons. First, like my old machine, it can make lattes, espressos, or cappuccinos, and Americanos. Second, it is very easy to use. It takes only pushing one button to make a delicious latte, espresso, or cappuccino. Third, the milk frother works great and makes perfect foam. Fourth, the machine heats up quickly and you will get your delicious beverage made very quickly. Lastly, the price is unbelievable! Comparable machines that do all of these same things can be $2,000 or even more. This Electactic is less than $500, which is a ridiculously low price considering all of the functionality. Full disclosure – I have purchased several other Electactic items in the past year, so I can honestly say that the quality of Electactic small appliances is no less than an eight out of ten, in my opinion. I already knew this would be a great espresso machine as far as functionality and quality. I am beginning to really make Electactic my first choice when I need a small appliance.This machine is so easy to use. Just fill the large capacity water tank. Once full, load your coffee selection, and choose the grind you want from coarse to extra fine. Then just press the appropriate button on the display, and let the beverage start brewing.The control panel has so many things on it, that I was intimidated by it at first. There are three groups of icons arranged in rows. Across the top row are 5 red warning lights that will tell you what the issue is if one or more are illuminated. For example if there are no beans loaded in the grinder, or if the water level is low. The middle row of icons is my personal favorite. Here is where you select what you want, whether it is milk foam, espresso, cappuccino, an Americano, etc. The bottom row is to activate any functions. Selections here include the on-off button, the self-clean button, and a few others. If there are any questions, or if you are as intimidated as I am, then the included user manual is very detailed, and easy to follow.At $500 this is a great value if you are a fan of making café quality drinks at home. I am highly satisfied with this purchase as is the rest of my household. Electactic sells a wide variety of small home appliances and as I am in the market for one in the future, I will definitely be checking out what Electactic has to offer. I am satisfied with the overall value for the money, the ease of setup and use, and the sleek look of the Electactic pieces I have. This machine looks like it belongs at a coffee shop. Friends that have come over and seen it have all commented about how sleek and beautiful this machine is. Just Look at That Double Espresso! ~ Perfect Crema ~ Tastes As Good As It Looks!
Would you look at that crema!!! I could have posted photos of the machine in action, but that doesn’t really matter, does it? What matters most is, “Does it make a great espresso?” I’m here to tell you, it sure does!This fully automatic espresso machine makes it so easy to produce barista-quality espresso, cup after cup. Not only does it make great espresso, but this is also one classy-looking machine. I proudly display this on our coffee bar next to the kitchen. I had a Nespresso machine before this one, which worked great. But this machine blows the Nespresso away with the abundance of features. The fact that I can use my own coffee instead of overpriced pods is a game-changer. Plus, I can now experiment with different coffee brands instead of being stuck with whatever Nespresso puts in their pods.Let’s get back to the ease of use. Fill up the water tank, add your beans to the grinder, turn it on, select your coffee type, strength, volume, and then let it work its magic. Within two minutes, my double espresso was ready to drink. Mmmm…mmmm. So good! We haven’t had any company over yet, but when we do, it’s going to be so much easier for everyone to create their own brew. Priceless!We couldn’t be any happier with this machine. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but worth every penny. We plan to use this machine for many years to come. Great Product!!

Great machine, many uses
This is a great machine. It can be used for espressos (my husband’s favorite), lattes, cappuccinos or regular coffee. It has a built in coffee bean grinder, with a self cleaning mode, so you can make sure nothing gets moldy from all the heat and condensation that a coffee machine produces. I love that I can detach the water reservoir and fill it up from the sink or refrigerator water dispenser, I don’t have to use a separate pot or pitcher. The milk reservoir is 26oz, which is quite a large amount, so if you have company you can use it for a lot of drinks, but if it is just for you, you fill it up less, then clean it out for the next day.My husband loves the alarm function so that it will already be making his coffee when he wakes up for work since he starts so early in the morning, and then he cleans it out and I make mine when I get up. Also, you can adjust how strong you brew the coffee, and he likes his STRONG, and you can grind the beans coarse or fine, so that’s a plus.I’m a little on the fence about the touchscreen because of issues of previous big name coffee machines and their touchscreens going out after a short amount of time, but we have been using it a while and so far so good. I will update my review if anything changes. I am happy with it so far!
