Comfortable and responsive, but build quality is just okay
This mouse was about as easy to set up as it gets. I plugged in the USB receiver on my Linux laptop and it worked immediately, no setup or configuration needed. It’s also USB-C rechargeable, which is convenient and keeps things simple without needing batteries. The mouse itself is very lightweight and feels responsive in everyday use.The ergonomic shape does make a difference. The vertical “handshake” position feels more natural than a standard mouse, especially over longer sessions, and this one fits smaller hands well. The quiet clicks are a nice touch, and I didn’t run into any tracking issues. It worked reliably both on a regular tabletop and even while using my laptop on my lap on the couch, which isn’t always a given. The downsides are mostly around build quality. The scroll wheel doesn’t move as smoothly as it should and feels like the weakest part of the design. The overall construction also feels a bit flimsy compared to more established models, so it doesn’t come across as especially durable.Overall, it’s a comfortable and easy-to-use vertical mouse that performs well, but the materials and scroll wheel keep it from feeling like a long-term upgrade.

Ergonomic Vertical Wireless Mouse
The Ergonomic Vertical Wireless Mouse has some good ideas behind it, but the experience is a bit mixed. The ergonomic “handshake” design does feel more natural than a traditional flat mouse, especially during longer sessions. It can help reduce some wrist strain once you get used to it, though there is definitely an adjustment period. The lightweight build also makes it easy to move around, and the quiet clicks are a nice touch if you’re working in a shared or quiet space. The rechargeable battery is convenient and saves you from constantly swapping out batteries, which is a plus. The forward and back buttons also help with productivity, especially for browsing or general office work. However the build quality feels a little on the cheaper side, and the shape might not fit every hand comfortably. Precision can also take a hit due to the limit in DPI ability. While most people can adapt, it may not feel as intuitive or smooth right away.Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re specifically looking for a more ergonomic mouse, but it may not fully replace a traditional mouse for everyone.

Actually good for small hands
I’ve had some other mice that were supposed to be good for small hands, but still required my fingers to stretch too far to scroll or had my hand in an uncomfortable grip to keep the thing from sliding out of my hands when squeezing. This mouse is ACTUALLY good for small hands. For reference, from the base of my hand where the first crease of my wrist starts to the tip of my middle finger is roughly 5 1/2 inches. With this small grip on the mouse, I haven’t encountered any issues using the scroll wheel or clicking either of the main buttons. The thumb buttons are actually placed in an even better location than my name brand Lift mouse (which, before this Luhaso, is the only mouse I have used since getting it over a year ago), especially since I really only ever use the back button. When I slide my thumb upwards to press the back button, my thumb bone hits the button vs the pad of my finger, and I actually prefer this bone button press because it just feels right. This mouse is wider than the Lift by a little bit and the angle is a bit different, which I tried to show in my photos. I think they could straighten the angle out by a few degrees to make the wrist sit even more vertical, but it still remains very comfortable. At first I was a little concerned that I was going to tire out my pinky trying to grip onto the bottom of the mouse to hold it in place and keep it from sliding out from under my hand, but I’ve found that this isn’t as much of an issue as I originally anticipated, especially if I can remind myself to rest my hand on my desk instead of trying to keep it propped up.The plastic is a bit slipperier than the Lift, but it’s not by any means actually slippery. There’s a bit of texture that lends itself to staying in place in hand fairly well, but I have pretty dry hands. I think if you tend towards having slightly sweatier hands, that might actually work to your advantage to give you a little more moisture to grip the plastic better. Do I wish there was a bit of some kind of grippy material towards the back of the mouse, where my palm rests though? Yes, yes I do. But is it causing my hand any extra stress or strain to not have the extra grip? No.The overall look and feel of this mouse is top notch. The button clicks aren’t silent, but they have kind of a nice, deep tone instead of the clicky, annoying sound that mice usually make. The clicks also feel nice and solid instead of feeling like they’re reverberating through a lightweight, empty mouse. I love that the buttons are gold-toned with a black scroll wheel, but I do wish they’d offer this in a white variant to match better with my desk/office aesthetic.Speaking of weight, I appreciate that this mouse has just a bit of weight to it. I come from the age of gaming when people used to actually ADD weights to their mice, and now we’ve trended towards mice being so lightweight that you can barely even feel them under your hand. That lightweight feel always bothers me because it’s so unsubstantial. So, in terms of directly comparing with the Lift, it goes a little something like this:Lift Pros:Slightly more comfortable hand positionBetter grip/less slipperyQuieter button clicksMore color optionsI’m not sure that this mouse ever goes to sleep because it’s always ready to go as soon as I touch itLift Cons:Gets dirty faster because of the grippy textureAuditory feedback from the button clicks isn’t as pronouncedClicks don’t feel as substantialThumb buttons are placed slightly too far forward for my thumbLuhaso Pros:Better thumb button position – literally PERFECTSlightly sleeker aestheticsBetter feeling and sounding clicking mechanismStays clean looking, since it only comes in black and doesn’t have grippy material that attracts dirt and hand oilsLuhaso Cons:Scroll wheel isn’t quite as smooth, and sometimes it almost seems to miss a couple clicks of the scroll wheel to startHand angle isn’t quite as comfortable, and the wider grip means that your thumb may start to feel some strain after a whileSlightly more slippery plastic (again could be a pro or a con, depending on which side of the fence you’re on)Mouse goes to sleep fairly quickly and takes a second to wake back up againOnly 1 color optionHonestly, for like half the price of the Lift, this little mouse is an excellent value. I’ve been using it non-stop for several days now (and I mean, non-stop… I’m on my computer A LOT) and I’ve found myself reaching for it more than the Lift, which is sitting right next to it, for most of the day.Once I’ve had a chance to use this for a few months, I’ll likely come back and update, but for now, this mouse gets really high marks.

Game changer for my wrist pain
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about this vertical mouse thing at first. My wrist has been killing me from years of using regular mice at work, so I figured I’d give it a shot. The setup was super easy and just plugged in the USB receiver and it worked right away on my Windows laptop. The angle feels weird for maybe the first day, but then your hand just naturally adjusts. Now I can’t imagine going back to a flat mouse. My wrist feels so much better after long work sessions. The handshake position is exactly what they show in the pictures and it really does feel more natural once you get used to it. The mouse itself feels solid and well built. It’s not too heavy but has some weight to it so it doesn’t feel cheap. The buttons are nice and quiet which is great since I work in an open office. The scroll wheel is smooth and the extra forward/back buttons actually come in handy for browsing. Battery life has been really good so far. I’ve been using it for about a week and haven’t had to charge it yet. The charging cable is USB-C which is convenient since that’s what my phone uses too. I’d definitely recommend this if you’re dealing with wrist discomfort from regular mouse use. Takes a little getting used to but totally worth it for the comfort.
