    Perfect cam.
I love this thing. I bought it to replace my crappy Xfinity cam. This thing works perfectly and communicates with Alexa. Wired it easily. Very simple to install

Must have for apartment complex or condos
Really solid upgrade for home or even small business use. The video is sharp and the head-to-toe view is super helpful—you can actually see packages on the ground, not just people at eye level. Installation is quick since it can run on battery, and the app makes it easy to check in or talk to visitors from anywhere.Motion alerts are generally reliable and customizable, though you’ll need a subscription if you want full video history. Overall, it’s a convenient, user-friendly security boost that just works.

CLEAR upgrade with head to toe view and clear picture!
I have used a few doorbells over the years and this one feels like a real upgrade. the head to toe viewing area is a stand out feature. I can see packages sitting right against the door instead of a clip of a body coming and going only.Installation was super easy and took my husband literally minutes. we are using it with the provided battery so there was no wiring needed. setting it up in my existing ring ap was straight forward. the picture quality is sharp suring the day and the night vision is shockingly great too! faces and movement are easy to make out and are not grainy.motion alerts have been accurate and quick so far. the two way talk and sound have also been perfect. it is small and looks nice and sleek.a few things to note- You need to subscribe the Ring AP to access certain features like recorded video history, which is pretty standard these days but worth noting. Also, depending on your WiFi strength, you may need to tweak placement for the best connection.Overall, this feels like a dependable, polished option for home security. The expanded vertical view alone makes it worth it if you get a lot of deliveries.

We have bought several products from Ring
All of my reviews on Ring Camera will be the same, for I’ve not experienced any difference on the difference devices I have.Camera Functionality: The camera functions as desired. If you opt to have the App (why wouldn’t you?), you can take control of each camera individually while doing so automatically through the different modes that you can pre-set. For example, when we are set for home, inside camera are not constantly detecting movement per my settings. This is triggered automatically at a time of day you pre-set. When asleep, you can let the App change the mode to detect and record those camera that you keep off when awake.Night Vision and Picture Quality: I was a little skeptical re quality at night time but I had no reason to be. So far, we have had no issues being able to tell who comes to our door when it’s dark. The detection quality is very good and the picture quality is decent.Wifi Connectivity: Admittedly, I wanted to place a camera further than the expressed range for wifi connection to work and failed. But that’s to be expected. When placed within the allotted distance, I’ve not had any issues with wifi.

Almost perfect. If not for those pesky parts.
A+ for camera quality and wifi streaming. Night vision is excellent. BUT.I installed this unit the day I received it and the actual features and build quality of this Ring doorbell unit are much better than the Blink unit I’m replacing. Where it almost lost me was at the install. This unit comes with a wedge style plate that you can use as a template for drilling into almost any surface if you have a general idea of what you’re doing. I replaced my existing original door bell with this unit as a test to see if I liked it in that area enough to warrant eventually hardwiring it in. I have a brick veneer that I really didn’t want to have to drill into but glad Im glad that I did. Ad I found out after drilling new anchor holes that the supplied screws for the anchors were definitely not going to work for this install. The heads are wayyyyy too small for the slots of the accompanied wedge plate. If you don’t plan on tightening them down then the doorbell will sit loosely attached to the wall and will definitely slide around when the bell button is pushed. Which, might suite someone, sure. It was just such an odd short sided but major component of the install that I was having second doubts about the entire experience. But after finding an appropriate sized set of screws in my own “misc screws kit” the rest of set up and testing experience went smoothly. This is really the only negative aspect of this Ring unit. Which for the current price, one might think there would be sufficient quality testing of all components of this item before mass production. Also I would def recommend checking out some YouTube vids under the exact name of this doorbell as it’s listed. If you generalize it too much then you’ll be watching the wrong install videos. P.s. for those having a hard time with the wedge mount, the plate should face you with the screw holes facing you during the wall mount sequence. Upon mounting that portion to your wall or door, then remove the battery compartment and look for 4 screw holes on opposite sides of the battery. Those are the only 4 you need to screw to the plate for it to sit firmly in place. Also kinda weird that this isn’t plainly described or pictured enough in the printed or digital instructions imo.Tldr: doorbell quality and functionality seem leagues ahead of mounting kit and parts.I’ll eventually post photos soon to hopefully help others in my same boat.

I’ve been using this Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus every day, and overall it’s been a solid addition to the front door. The 1536p video quality is clear and detailed — better than a lot of other doorbells — and it captures faces and packages really well, even in bright sunlight.Setup was straightforward and truly DIY-friendly. It connected to my Wi-Fi without much fuss, and the app walks you through each step. Once it’s up and running, the motion alerts are reliable and the notifications come through fast, so I always know what’s happening at the door. Two small things worth mentioning:Because it’s battery powered, I had to think about where to mount it so the signal stays strong and battery life stays good. Mine holds charge well, but if you get a lot of alerts it uses more power. Some features in the app, like advanced motion zones, take a little time to dial in just right. Once set, though, it works smoothly.Overall this Ring doorbell feels reliable, with very good video quality and easy install. Great choice if you want a solid wireless video doorbell that’s simple to set up and keeps you connected to what’s happening at home.

Great quality doorbell the detection features and app make it easy to monitor the front door and keep up with security. The only drawback is the Ring subscription which allows some features such as video recording, however I am yet to find a replacement that is as good or better

It was easy to install and get working. The product works well and has a great viewing angle for both people and parcels. It has gone offline once for no reason; however, I can live with that if it’s only once. One improvement would be to fix the geofence bugs. It doesn’t work consistently and notifies me that I am at the door when I am leaving the house, which is annoying. I have mine hooked up to Chime Pro and have subscribed to the Protect plan. I would buy it again.

We love the doorbell. We just use it with the app. Very very easy to setup and use. We don’t need a subscription either. You can download anything you want to save in the app as well very easy! 😎 the quality is awesome too.

I previously was using (without) issue the standard Ring Battery Video Doorbell (in copper colour); and bought the Battery Video Doorbell Plus when it went on sale during Prime Day.It has been a game changer, and is better in almost every way:1. The Field of View is SIGNIFICANTLY greater.I live a top a flight of stairs, and often when I had deliveries, I previously couldn’t view or be alerted of deliveries because the camera view of the standard Ring Doorbell didn’t reach the floor. The Video Doorbell Plus solves that problem as the field of view reaches from the floor to the roof. Maybe an extra 30 or 40 degrees improvement in field of view vertically. My floor to ceiling height is around 2.5m.Lateral field of view seems similar.2. Removable battery is a game changer.Having to remove the whole unit to charge for 8 hours with the standard Video Doorbell is a real inconvenience. Being able to just switch out the removable battery in the Doorbell Plus so there is no down time, is significantly more convenient. The battery still uses a micro-USB to charge. Don’t know why Ring isn’t using USB C by now (cable is included though)3. Less lag when going to Live View.I found with the standard Ring Battery Video Doorbell, it took up to 30secs to go to Live View when someone was at my door (usually around 15 to 20secs). By the time I connected the person or deliverer was gone. The Doorbell Plus allows me to connect to Live View in 1/2 to 1/3 of the time previously (5 to 10 secs usually). Significantly less frustrating.I don’t know whether the removable battery will last as long as the internal battery of the standard Video Doorbell. If there is significant decrease I will update my review.I liked the copper colour of the previous standard Doorbell (matches brickwork better), but I can buy removable faceplates I think.Overall, the Video Doorbell Plus is better, more convenient and functional, than the standard Ring Battery Video Doorbell, in almost every way. When on sale during Prime Day (with 40% off), the price of the two were almost similar. I can’t recommend the standard Doorbell if you can afford or can get the Plus version on discount. It’s better and less frustrating to use in every single way.
