Great indoor camera, works much better than outdoor ones
Great cameras. Great value for money. They perform much better than Blink outdoor – I wish their outdoor version was just as good.Easy to connect, good picture quality, good motion detection and recognition. I am yet to find an outdoor camera that would perform as good as Blink Mini indoor.One minor con:On the first day I bought these cameras one of them fell and the mount cracked. I taped it, but it’s not reliable, of course. There are no replacement parts online, but customer support was able to help me and shipped a replacement part (I have not received it yet, it took a while and a few back and forth conversations).

One of the main reasons I love it is because it comes with a wired power connection, which makes a huge difference compared to the battery-powered cameras I used before. Those would run out of battery quickly and were honestly a hassle to maintain.This new camera solves that problem completely. Since it’s connected with an electrical cable, I don’t have to worry about constantly recharging or missing important moments due to a dead battery.On top of that, the image quality is excellent. The video is clear, sharp, and reliable, which gives me a lot of confidence when using it for monitoring. Blink Mini 2K
I’ve been using the Blink Mini 2K camera, and overall, it’s a solid option if you want something affordable and simple but it’s not perfect.The first thing I noticed is the video quality. The 2K resolution is definitely a step up from older models everything looks sharper and clearer, especially during the day. It’s small, easy to place anywhere, and the setup is pretty straightforward once you get through the app.I also like that it has two-way audio, motion alerts, and even a small spotlight for color night vision. It does the basics really well, especially for checking on your home, kids, or pets.But there are some downsides you should know about.The biggest one is that you almost need a subscription to get the full experience (like cloud storage and smart alerts). Without it, the camera feels limited. Also, the camera has to stay plugged in all the time, so you don’t have flexibility like battery-powered options.Another issue is motion detection. It can be a bit too sensitive and sometimes sends too many alerts, even for small movements. Night vision is okay, but not the best it can look grainy in very dark conditions.For the price, the Blink Mini 2K is a great budget camera with good video quality and useful features. But if you don’t want to pay monthly fees or need more advanced performance, you might find it a bit limiting.

Honestly ive been using blink for years, since the xt cameras and ive been thinking their motion detection capabilities were going downhill, even with the outdoor 4 and regular 2k+ battery camera, but this new mini2k+ is great, its got motion detection like the old cameras a wider view an led spotlight to give you color nightvision and a 105 db siren when using live view, I paired it with their weather resistant power cable. I read that it wouldn’t have local storage on the older sync modules, but its working fine with mine. This might be their best new camera.Also for Blink developers, I think they should come out with a blink; smoke/carbon monoxide/natural gas detector with a fisheye camera/lens.

The motion sensor works very very well. Couldn’t ask for a better camera and at the small price it’s a win, win. I highly recommend.
