Not worth the security risk to your home
The instructions, and even the notifications, were clearly written by someone whose first language is not English. The setup instructions were unclear, as was the instructional video. After multiple attempts, I was unable to add my wife and daughter to the home account due to a missing account number. An internet search showed that I was not the only person who had the same difficulty. My family could use their PIN and fingerprint, but could never access it via the app. Despite the WiFi connection being excellent, it would go online and offline several times per day. Therefore, when my wife goes out for her walk but takes a physical key because she does not trust the chip card, fingerprint, or PIN, I know something is very wrong. This is the front door to my house that I am dealing with; I cannot risk my home’s security with an off-brand, cut-rate, unreliable door lock. This is a security issue that requires an established and reputable brand.

Better than a Ring doorbell, Paywall for video storage
I like that there are multiple redundancies on this Smart Lock and a traditional key is included as a backup if all else fails. Admittedly we were a little hesitant to install this on our front door in case things went awry, but it was worked wonderfully on our back door. We’ve mostly used this in winter weather and the battery life has been surprisingly great. It was relatively easy to install and the video footage is clear. My biggest gripe about this lock is that the cloud video storage is locked behind a paywall. That’s fine and to be expected, but the lack of a physical SD card option leaves this smart lock lacking if you’re looking to use it as your primary security system. I have multiple other cameras with storage so that’s less of a concern for me, but it’s still a notable negative.

A nice sleek door lock/camera combo.
What I likeThe lock feels solid and well thought out — it combines a door lock, fingerprint sensor, keypad, and doorbell camera all in one unit.Unlocking is fast and flexible: I can use fingerprint, keypad code, traditional key, or the smartphone app — handy for different family members or guests. Surprisingly, I found the app to not be clunky, which is never a given with these off-brand products. The built-in camera + doorbell + two-way audio gives real peace of mind. I can see who’s at the door, talk to them, and even unlock the door remotely if needed. The app remote control & notifications are convenient — I get alerts when someone rings the doorbell or triggers motion detection, and can respond even if I’m away. The battery life seems good so far. I’ve had the device for about 2 months now and haven’t had to recharge it yet. Finally — and importantly — the weather resistance (IP65 rating) gives me confidence the lock will hold up over time even in Florida’s monsoons & humidity.Minor drawbacks (but not deal-breakers for me)Because the fingerprint functionality relies on dry, clean fingers, performance can be a bit finicky if your fingers are wet or dirty. The lock’s smart functions (remote unlocking, video, notifications) require a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection — if your WiFi is spotty or temporarily down, you lose those benefits (though fingerprint/fob/key still work). As with many all-in-one smart locks, installation is a bit more involved than a simple deadbolt, but I found it manageable (~15–20 minutes) and it worked cleanly. You’re relying on a no-name company to continue to provide app updates to keep remote functions supported. That might not be a deal-breaker for a smart ring or humidifier, but might give some people pause on pulling the trigger for something as important as a home lock. You’re combining multiple components into one device. While that makes the whole getup sleeker, it could prove burdensome if just one component breaks, or if there is, say, an enticing upgrade to a standalone doorbell camera or door lock that comes out in the future.Final thoughtsIn spite of those concerns, this smart lock has made my front-door entry much more convenient and secure. Between the fingerprint/keyless entry options, remote monitoring, and built-in camera/doorbell — plus strong weather/resistance specs — I feel it offers excellent value for the price. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who wants the convenience of a smart home entry plus home-security features in one package. It potentially offers outsized value for someone who lives in an apartment that might not want to (or can’t) install two separate smart devices.

Good quality but not great if you don’t have stable internet & don’t pay for subscription.
I expected this to have internal video storage and was disappointed when it only works with subscription based cloud. I got this for my cabin and our internet is dependent on when we are there. I really wanted to be able to have a record of what happened when I wasn’t there but this won’t work for that.It seems like a quality built lock. The battery is rechargeable but you have to remove it from the lock, it would be nice if you could just plug something in without having to take it off. Doorbell feature is nice but it needs to be a little more obvious for people to actually use it.Good value for the money if you don’t mind paying for a subscription to access videos and have a solid stable internet connection.

More peace of mind!
I wasn’t totally sure what to expect from this, but honestly it’s been impressive so far. The camera quality is surprisingly good and the doorbell feature works the way you’d hope. The fingerprint reader has been quick for me too. I like that the app lets me check things remotely because I’m notorious for wondering if I locked the door after I’m already halfway to work. Installation wasn’t too painful either, which is always a win in my book. Overall it feels solid, modern, and convenient. I’m happy with it and I like the peace of mind it gives me.
