Lightweight and strong suction!
Excellent tool. I’ve used it everywhere! A fantastic, light weight handheld vacuum with strong suction. People have said the battery doesn’t last long. That has not been my experience. I have used it on cleaning jobs and in my own home and it last plenty long. I even used it on a very dirty 2 hour job today and it never slowed down one bit. The attachments all work and fit well. The upholstery/dog hair attachment works great too, even on short wire dog hair.

Light weight and good suction
Nice appliance. Light weight makes it easy to handle. Good suction. Decent runtime on a charge. Great for picking up those little messes instead of getting out the big vac.

Works great – wish the charge lasted longer
This is a great little handheld vacuum. It has good suction power, the different nozzles are useful for a variety of cleanup needs, and it’s not too heavy. I generally use it for little spills around the house or to do a quick vacuum of my car. It’s also easy to empty out – which can be frustrating on other models.I took away one star because the charge does not last a super long time. Fully charged I can do a quick vacuum of my car (an mid-sized SUV) and that’s it. It usually runs out of power as I’m finishing up my car, so if you want something that is going to last a long time, this probably isn’t the best choice for you. But, for small jobs around the house it’s a great little handheld and I recommend it.

Extremely Disappointed – Do Not Waste Your Money
We first had a Bissell hand vac that was cheaper than this one. It worked great for 2-3 years, but one of the kids dropped it and the part that holds the cup on it broke. It was held together with tape for a period of time until we were ready to purchase a new one. It still worked a few more months with the tape holding it together.I had been eyeing a shark hand vac for a long time. We are big fans of shark with our shark lift away navigator we’ve used for years now. I wanted to splurge and invest in our hand vac since we are always cleaning quick little messes with little kids in our home.I picked this one out and initially really liked it. We just got it in January, so only 2-3 months ago. But this week it suddenly will not hold a charge or turn on. The 30 day return window is of course past. It’s infuriating to have thought I was splurging and investing in a better product. If I had known I would have gone with the trusty old bissell that I thought was just a cheap one we were getting til we could afford a better one. Apparently it IS the better one. I can only hope this review will be discovered and someone will try and make this right. But I am not hopeful. I will likely be out the $ (as thought any of us has extra to just throw away in junk goods) and deal til I can afford to purchase another bissell. Do better, Shark! You’re a trusted brand, fix your hand vacs! It this hand vac was my first Shark experience, I would never buy another Shark product.

Bought this for my mom to use for her car and other touch up areas. I have the older model and have had it for several years and it picks up everything so nice. Mine is cracked and I wish I would’ve bought myself another one with that “Cyber Monday” price.

Broke after only 6 months, but Shark sent a replacement
Edit: After a lot of back and forth trying to help the AI email agent understand the problem, the support system sent me a new vacuum and I only had to pay for the shipping. So, I’m adjusting back up to a mid-grade rating. If the replacement works for at least 2 years then we are all set. I will note that the charging issue seems to be a recurring problem on electronics that use USB for charging and I will be avoiding that in the future.———————————————-We have another shark vacuum, and that one is great, but this handheld is really bad. The suction was never good, and after 6 months it has just stopped charging.Customer service is run entirely by AI (even the emails), and after explaining the exact problem with the USB-C port on the vacuum, they offered to send another cord. See the video – another cord is definitely not going to help the situation.Bottom line, don’t buy it.

Ideal for dog hair, dirt
The Shark Pet hand vacuum works great for me, and is ideal for sucking up wads of Golden Retriever hair from corners & various hiding places where these tumbleweeds manage to get under & behind. I also use it to vacuum the inside bottom of my kitchen cabinets where dust & dirt manage to somehow get, and under & around my computer/desk area where I can’t get a regular vacuum into.The battery so far has lasted just fine; I don’t expect to do hours-long cleaning with it, I use it for a couple of minutes at a time in small areas. It charges quickly and I appreciate that it’s USB-C .I don’t have carpet or fabric furniture (because I would indeed have FURniture), so I can’t say how well the pet hair attachment works – I use it with the crevice or no attachment.It’s easy to empty and remove the dust cup and shake it out.Overall, a very handy tool for pet owners, imo.

Nice handheld vacuum
This vacuum has lasted close to 3 years and still going strong. It is easy to empty and clean. Parts easy to remove and put back on. To charge this vacuum it takes a few hours, but lasts a few weeks with short uses every day or every other day. It is reasonably powerful for its size and has cleaned many a mess. The volume level is typical of a device this size and power.

The Shark is a great bit of kit. I use one at work daily, and it’s lasted for 4 years now. Parts of it are fragile, but spares are available. Beware that the one sold by Amazon US at a good price (intermittently) needs a UK adaptor for the charger, and this isn’t supplied with the item. My only problem is that I’ve ordered this twice now and on both occasions it’s gone missing in the USA. Perhaps the packaging isn’t up to the usual standard. Amazon UK aren’t able to resupply, only refund, and by the time that happens on both occasions the great price has gone up by approx 30%, making ordering from the US pointless.

I put it on charge and it seems to have a powerful suction, making great to clean my car.I was worried initially as it came with an American adapter with two pins.I swapped the adapter for a 3 pin uk plug that was USB and all is ok. The usb lead is 12 volt so compatible with uk plug.Hopefully will last a long time
