Basic off road navigation
Not a touch screen but locks up faster and battery life is good. I’ve used Garmin GPS for over 20 years, so I’m familiar with the options and menus. It’s a fit in the bib of my overalls. Enables me to find my favorite hunting and fishing spots and ensures I can find my way back

Device Terrible
This device was deemed inoperative by Garmin tech at the 800 number – wouldn’t recommend the product

Not durable
I’ve owned this device for a modest length of time and used it infrequently, but it is already showing malfunctions.

It works as descibed
I had the monchrome version of this GPS hiking unit for many years. I actually wore it out. This one has a color display and it is harder to read because the letters are smaller and a little lower contrast.
peter holden –
Great looking

Had trouble getting 32GB micro as working but after sliding holder up to lock it in place had no trouble updating it on the Garmin site. Briefly tried it out in a local park and had no problem tracking my course. The real test will come when I take it up north at end of this month. Did not like the fact that ended up buying a Re manufactured one for $255 and now you can get a brand new one for $249!

If you buy it for the map then it’s no good idea. Map is Grey in dark blue and very small detail. Not good visible in the house , outside is useless. it’s is not as it is shown on the add.
