Excellent desk charging station — smart layout and fast charging
This Anker outlet extender is exactly what I needed for a home office setup. The wide-spaced AC outlets easily fit bulky plugs, and having USB-A and USB-C ports built in cuts down on clutter. The 20W USB-C fast charging works great for phones and tablets.Build quality is solid (typical Anker), it feels secure in the wall, and the surge protection gives peace of mind for electronics. Thin extender with lots of adaptability
Great extender and secure fitment. All the plugs I put in it hold very tight and aren’t loose. I use it for an outside outlet so I don’t get use of the bottom usb ports, but nice to have if I decide to move it around.

I’m impressed by the Anker Outlet Extender. It’s one of those gadgets that you immediately think, “Man, how have I survived so long without this thing?” The 10-in-1 configuration provides me with everything I need in the way of outlets—6 AC outlets, 2 USB-A, and 2 USB-C—without any bulk or clutter. The placement of the outlets so far apart is a real blessing for any large plug or adapter.I’m telling you, the 20W fast charging is not to be taken lightly. My phone charges faster than usual, which I totally appreciate. I love being able to charge multiple devices simultaneously without any fear of overloading. To top it off, there’s a 300J surge protector built right in, giving me some security for my more sensitive devices.It feels good, looks clean, and keeps everything sorted. If you are thinking of expanding your outlet space with something reliable and well-designed, this product is a no-brainer recommendation. I think Anker did a flawless job.

Good product with a slight design flaw
Anker is my go to brand for power strips and extension outlets. We have a smart house setup, and everything needs to be plugged in to connect to our network. And everything else needs to be charged! I want to make using our electronics as convenient as possible, and protect them from potential power surges, while minimizing cords and adapters scattered around the house. This unit consolidates several items with various plug types into one area. There are 6 3-prong outlets, 2 USB and 2 USBC plugs. The only thing I would prefer with this product is if it installed flush with the wall for a more streamlined profile. The back of this curves outward and up from the wall, leaving a gap between the wall and the front. It does have a hole in the middle where you can put a screw, not included, to attach it to the outlet for a more secure installation. With the raised lip, I recommend using a crew that is long enough to do so. This would prevent accidental disconnection in case a cord gets caught on the lip and pulls the whole thing out of the outlet.

I picked up the Anker Outlet Extender mainly to solve a constant problem—never having enough outlets—and it honestly delivers better than expected.The good:This thing is a space-saver. Instead of juggling multiple power strips, it neatly expands a single wall outlet into 6 AC outlets plus USB-A and USB-C ports. The layout is smart too—there’s enough spacing between plugs that bulky adapters don’t block each other (which is a huge win). The built-in USB-C fast charging is super convenient for phones and smaller devices, so I’ve been able to ditch a couple of charging bricks.Performance:Everything charges reliably, and the 20W USB-C port is fast enough for everyday use like topping up a phone or tablet. The 300J surge protection adds a bit of peace of mind for basic electronics.A couple things to note:It’s not meant for heavy-duty appliances, and depending on your wall outlet placement, it can look a bit bulky. But for desks, dorms, or bedside setups, it fits in nicely.Overall:If you’re trying to declutter cables and maximize a single outlet, this is a really practical upgrade. It’s simple, efficient, and does exactly what it promises—gives you more usable power without the mess.
