Method 1:

Then you can use Alexa to control the lights.
It is recommended to pair only one light at a time.

I purchased the 8 bulb kit to replace all of the 40w equivalents I had in the living area. I can now brighten up the area quite a bit. I had also installed a different brand of lights for my kitchen area that worked well for that project, but it had an app that did not work very well and a remote, so I was a little concerned prior to setting up the living area, but the app works just fine. I can individually control each light, or modify as a group. Very cool.

These bulbs “remember”
Unlike other brands, the software for these bulbs can remember your color settings and save them as a scene. We have 16 bulbs all around the house and love that you can easily switch between our preset holiday colors. Too bad the actual color of these bulbs isn’t as vibrant as the others. I could not get it to make a decent orange color. A dull peach color is all they would do. Also, two of the 8 bulbs in one set wouldn’t remember their initial color and always turn on as plain white. So one star off for the bland colors and one star off for faulty product. I have so many of these bulbs now I’m torn between functional quality and color vibrancy. I really wish one of these companies would get it right one day.

Started dying at 3 months.
I have had many Melpo products over the years, but will no longer purchase these. Two of the bulbs are already dead after 3 months. Both lost the red LED, so many colors are not accessible.Configuration was easy, but I can’t justify the poor quality.
