This review is for the 42 inch Stand Up Desk Converter, Height Adjustable Sit Stand Desk Riser, Black, 42PB.So this is a really nice sit/stand desktop option, but it can be used as a riser on any type of table/stand that is sturdy and it fits on. I’m using it on a TV/entertainment center stand, that in my opinion, sits too low for proper viewing. What is with these type of stands only being made 18 or 20 inches tall now a days? It seems like as TV’s have gotten bigger, stands have gotten shorter LOL.Of course in a perfect world, I would have a house elf who could magic a wall mounted full motion unit and attach my big tv to it for me. But alas, that’s not the case. So as a mere muggle, I have to do the best I can as a short handicapped woman with a bad back. So this item solves my issue in a very simple way.This thing is big, it’s very sturdy with the steel frame, it’s heavy from the frame and the engineered wood tops. It’s a couple of simple steps to complete assembly, it’s a nice black color so blends well with about any decor. It’s simple to operate to move up/down and works smoothly. I did need help to get it up where I needed it as I put it together on the floor. I must say I do wish the keyboard shelf would retract, but it’s useful to put my sound bar and a couple other things on.Regular price $ 199.99 per the listing and there’s a $50.00 off coupon which makes this a great deal in my opinion as these things are expensive for a good one! But watch for sales/coupons, browse listings… to find the best deal.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

Not worth the purchase
Item isnt sturdy. It’s also doesn’t come up straight. It comes up on an angle and therefor takes up more room in a small office. Lastly, the support legs are huge and hang over on a standard desk.

Its easy to lift and lower and holds up to my large monitor
I set this 42-inch stand-up converter on my 65-inch desk and placed my large 45-inch monitor on top. Lifting it is manual, but simple, just pull the lever and raise or lower it without much effort. It’s smooth and steady, even without a motor.There’s a handy slot in the front where I can rest my iPad, which is great when I’m listening to videos while working. The surface can fit two smaller monitors or one larger one easily, I have a large 45 inch monitor on it, but even with my big screen, it holds strong and feels stable. When it’s lowered, it functions like a regular desk, and when raised, it helps take the pressure off my back. It would be even better if it was electric, but for how well it works, I’m happy with it. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and doesn’t take up my entire desk space.
