Only iPhone 15 and later,and iPad(10th gen)and later support battery level and model identification.Other devices like Samsung,Pixel,and tablets charge normally but don’t support this feature.2‑in‑1 cables are not compatible with model identification
Is it normal for the charger to get warm while charging?
Yes. High-power chargers generate more heat than low-power models. This charger uses intelligent temperature control and operates within international safety standards, so it is safe to use.
Why do some devices only show “iPhone** Series” or “iPad pro M* Series” instead of the full model name?
Update your device to the latest system version and try again. If the full model name still does not appear, this behavior is normal and does not affect charging performance.
Why is charging power lower than expected or slower than usual?
Charging power adjusts based on your device’s needs, with a maximum output of 45W (PD). Some devices use proprietary protocols that may limit charging speed. Power is also highest when the battery is low and gradually decreases as the battery fills.

Very Good Tech

Fast, Cool, and Fully Compatible with My Apple Devices
I love this charger. I originally bought it for my iPhone 17 Pro Max because it’s fully compatible, but it also works perfectly with my iPad. It charges my devices fast, stays cool, and never overheats. It even recognizes my Apple devices and displays the brand and model, which is a really nice touch. I’ve been really impressed with this charger so far. I own many Anker products and this one delivers the goods as well as or better than similar products.It’s compact, charges quickly and feels solid and well made. The 45W output is plenty for fast charging phones, tablets and even smaller laptops, and the design keeps it much smaller than traditional chargers with similar power.The smart display is what really sets it apart. It’s helpful to be able to see the charging status at a glance, and it gives the charger a more premium feel. It’s a small feature, but one that makes the charger more useful and a little more interesting than a standard wall adapter.

Amazing charger
Such a great charger. It knows what kind of apple device you’re plugging into it. Tells the percentage and has a digital screen. Charges very fast and I love the overnight cooling mode so it doesn’t overheat your battery and ruin your battery life.

Long-time user of Anker products. They perform well, they’re cleverly designed, and reasonably priced.This new 45W charger is just brilliant. I bought one a month ago, liked it so much I bought more – for my wife, my dad, and another for myself.This 45W Anker Nano recognizes the charging needs of whatever device you plug into it and adapts to it. I have an iPhone 17 Pro, an M4 Macbook Air, and a M4 iPad Pro, and the Anker charges all of them quickly. Also, the Anker by default reduces the charging speed a little before the device’s battery is fully charged, which prolongs the longevity of the device’s battery.When this product was first announced and reviewed on tech websites, the screen seemed like a gimmick. But now that I have the charger, I really like the screen. It displays useful information, like how much power it’s delivering to my devices in real time.Lastly, it’s super functional. It is smaller and weighs less than any 45W charger I’ve ever seen, and smaller than some of Anker’s slightly older 30W chargers. Also, I love that the prongs can not only fold into the device to make it more easily portable, but can be set at two different angles, allowing easy access to the USB-C port and the display no matter where you plug in the charger.This charger lists for $40, but commonly is available for $30, which seems like a steal for a portable, top-quality charger with thoughtful and useful features.

Great charger and works as described very well.
The Anker charger does stay cooler and the phone also, while charging fast. iPhone 16 pro for two years prior to this charger and I noticed a significant temperature drop in the phone when held during charging, it is noteworthy improvement. Phone will get warm like natural in any charging but it is a lot better.

Android functionality limited, but still good enough
Quite impressive overall. It’s a 45w charger which is smaller than most 10w chargers. The display is cute, BUT only takes up half of the face. Anker used a black piece of plastic to conceal this.I’m mostly in Android land, minus my iPad for Foreflight, so I don’t get all of the goodies. The screen doesn’t show my phone’s battery life nor how much time is remaining to charge. BUT, it still does show wattage and how hot the charger is running.It will put out 45w for a decent amount of time. I haven’t torture-tested it yet, but after 30 minutes it was still pumping out 45w continuous to one of my power banks. It even powers my Lenovo X1 Carbon quite well.Small enough to put in your jeans pocket if need be, and if you’re an iPhone user, you probably need to. If so, this is the charger for you.I wish they did more with the display. It’s a nice display, even if small. And so many opportunities to do something with it. Like a mAh/time counter, voltage/amp display, etc. I’m pretty sure the hardware could do it. Perhaps for a future version. In that case, nevermind, as I already have Anker’s 100w, 140w, and 160w display chargers and don’t need another one…my wife would kill me if I bought more.

One of the best chargers I’ve ever owned! So small and compact for a 45 watt, automated charging so it doesn’t burn out the battery. I like the device detection when you plug it in with little animation screen. Overall it’s an excellent power adapter/ Block. Materials are great quality, but anker is known for that, worth the price! My third product from them. I got Anker Solix c1000 G2 and older Anker power block both still works great 50hz and 60hz as I travel to countries that use different cycles in the electricity even when I’m in the field remotely in the Jungle that’s when I use the c1000 to power my Starlink 24/7!

Let’s address the elephant in the room: at ₹6,000+, it’s a luxury purchase (especially since it’s ~$35 in the US). But if you love hardware and data, it’s worth every penny.The Tech Breakdown:Power Delivery: It’s pushing 30W+ to my iPhone 17 Pro Max and handles the Samsung S26 Ultra with ease. It’s super efficient, and the charging curves are very stable.The Display (The Best Part): As you can see in my video, it identifies the device by name! The animation is smooth, and seeing the real-time output wattage is addictive for any techie.Build & Design: Typical Anker premium finish. It’s tiny but feels dense and high-quality.Important Note for Indian Buyers:This is an imported unit with US-style flat pins (check my photos). You will definitely need a high-quality travel adapter to use it with Indian sockets (or a multi-socket switchboard in a house).Final Verdict:If you want to charge your phone, buy something cheaper. But if you are a Techie who wants to monitor charging stats and wants the absolute best-looking compact brick on the market, this is it. It’s expensive, it’s niche, and I love it.
