Fantastic camera either standalone or part of a NVR system.
This camera is amazing. I have it connected to my NVR that I got from Lorex with my other cameras. The quality on this camera has me seeing individual leaves on the ground after zooming in.

Piece of Junk
I have spent 5 hours of my time over the last 30 days trying to make 2 of these floodlights work. I spent $750 for an electrician to install!!! Lorex tech support first told me that I didn’t have the correct internet wireless capabilities through my router. They said I had 5 ghz and needed 2.4 ghz. I checked with Netgear and I do indeed have 2.4 ghz. Then Lorex told me the camera was too far from the router. When I asked what the maximum allowance was they then told me that I couldn’t have a wall between the camera and the router. IT IS AN EXTERIOR CAMERA!!! Do not spend you time and money on these junk!

Great addition to my Fusion system from Lorex
We mounted this under a soffit replacing a regular ol’ motion sensor/floodlight that was already there. While it took a little bit of force to move the lights around to work under a soffit vs on a wall, it all worked out great and was able to be installed in less than 30 min. The image is super clear and the lights are bright. We have it on the “cool” light vs the “Warm” light. Warm just looks weird as if there’s a storm rolling in or something. Super strange. But the cool light looks great and bright. We have 3 other cameras all integrated into the Lorex NVR we got a while back and they work GREAT together. Side note, there was one camera (not this one) which had a weak connection to our home wireless mesh and kept disconnecting. We ended up just getting an extender and putting it in the attic above the garage closest to the camera and voila, works great. Love not having to pay a cloud company to record video too…

Nice camera, lousy memory card management.
Cameras detect what they are supposed to. Images are clear. The memory card in both of my cameras failed within 30 days of installation. Neither can be read in the camera or on any reader. I recommend installing a better 256mb card immediately.

Good floodlight
I purchased the lorex 2k floodlight because it could go under an eave. The floodlight seemed to be well made. It is fairly easy to install but the directions are lacking. The motion sensing and camera quality are good. The ability to put under an eave is not as easy as it should be. The lights and camera still get in each others way when trying to position them. Other than that I am pleased so far. I have only had the light up for a week so I can’t discuss longevity.

Very Good
It’s my first camera. Great video day and night. I’m still working on the adjustment to minimize ‘false’ triggers, but I really like this light / camera. Was easy to install.

Exactly what I was looking for
I got two of these cameras and they work great. I wish the app had more options for customizing notifications but all in all, these things are great! Bright lights, good camera, good audio.

Had it about a week now now and it’s a very good quality product. So much that I bought one for my front area as well. We’ll see how they work in -30c this winter.

I have a central multi camera Lorex Security system. Hard wired and capable of adding additional cameras including WiFi.Great system and cameras both hard and Wifi.Unfortunately, when I purchased this camera floor light device I thought it would be of the same quality if not more advanced due to its recent addition to the product line.Since installing it last week and adding it to the Lorex App. I have had nothing, but struggles with the motion detection settings. I have tried all various forms of configuration and set up, but still the camera only senses motion when something is less than 4-5 yards in front of it. This includes the engagement of the flood light; which at times engages without the camera.Very disappointed. As this is unlike the specifications stated with regards to motion detection and flood light enabling. Nor does this live up to the quality I have experienced with Lorex.

This unit has an above average camera and the features work as expected. I thought it was expensive however, the lights are bright and do respond to detected motion of people/animals. App has no issues and playback works as expected.Hopefully it will go the distance and last for a long time.

Great product, works as intended, flood lights are super bright. If you want to be able to see licence plates you’ll probably want 4K.
