So much value a such a low price
Less than $10 for good quality digital kitchen scale? Yep. So much for inflation! Anyway, this scale works really well and is easy to use. The digital readout fades a little if you’re not looking at it directly from above, but I’m OK with that at this price.It’s easy to toggle between units while weighing and it’s a breeze to clean after use (just a quick wipe with a damp microfiber cloth takes care of it).The scale stores easily in a drawer and you can have things stored on top of it and it will not turn on if you do, unless you press the “on” button. My previous digital scale turned on by itself as soon as it sensed a weight on it and ran down its battery pretty quick. No such issue with this scale!

I think this should be in everyone’s kitchen. It’s definitely a must-have, especially if you cook often and enjoy trying out different recipes. It’s very lightweight and super sensitive, which is a great feature.I was trying out a crab soup recipe and measured out 1 pound of crab meat on it. I covered the scale with parchment paper before placing the crab meat on it for easier cleanup. Then, I adjusted the unit of measurement to pounds, and it worked smoothly and effectively. Although I have nothing to compare it with, it did seem accurate, which is enough for me. It’s quite small, so storage is easy; I still keep it in the box and put it away in a drawer in my kitchen for easy access.I love that it is made from stainless steel, which seems more hygienic to me and makes for easier cleanup. The directions for use are pretty straightforward, and you should get the hang of it in seconds.

Ideal Kitchen Scale for the Home Cook
I think I’ve purchased four of these scales so far … one for my kitchen and three as gifts.My first purchase came after my prior scale got quirky after 20+ years of use. I’ve found this very inexpensive scale to be accurate, and easy to use. It turns on and off quickly, and toggles between gm, oz, and several other measurements with a simple push of a button.It also has a low profile, making it easy to store in a small cabinet next to our coffee filters and cups.

Worked well initially then quickly became unstable after a few times. The reading kept jumping up and down. Can’t even measure down to 1 oz. Would not recommend.
