Set up & App So Easy
Only had this up for one day but works great & extremely easy app to use on my Android phone. You can control the 2 sockets separately which is pretty cool because the limit is 15 amps to use so I can easily shut off the socket I have something plugged into but don’t need to use at the moment I need all 15 amps for what I have plugged into the other socket. Today I turned the left socket on from about 10 miles away & it was working when I got home.It did take me a minute or two to get the attached socket covers to it to fit right so I wish the flaps were a bit thicker as I think that would help with ease of securing them in the socket slots.This is not a flimsy item, seems very durable but if I find that changes I will update. (However, I doubt I will need to)

Reliable and Functional Outdoor Plug
This Kasa smart outdoor plug is a game changer for us! We use it outdoors for our chicken coop and patio string lights. The smart plug is super functional — easy to control from your phone and has options for a timer or no timer. For example, our lights are on a timer, but the chicken coop is not. So it’s really neat to be able to use one plug with multiple options! Additionally, this plug makes me feel assured that my chickens are safe. We had issues with other plugs shorting out, but Kasa’s high quality plug has proven to be reliable!

Setup Was Easy the First Time!
High-quality product. I used Apple HomeKit to set these up and it worked quickly and flawlessly the first time (!). Each outlet is individually addressable, so this is essentially two smart plugs for the price of one.

Works well, but right-angled plug is limiting and annoying
Works well. Easy to setup. Matter over wifi or just wifi. Works with home assistant. Only thing to be aware of is that it’s a right-angled plug. So you can basically only use one of these and if you have a protected, sunk in outlet box outdoors, it makes it really hard to plug it in. Wish they’d go back to the straight plug instead.

Reliable Outdoor Plug That Works So Well I Bought Another
The Kasa Matter Smart Outdoor Plug has been a great addition to my setup. It connects easily to Apple Home, the app is straightforward, and I like being able to control both outlets separately. The weather resistance has held up through rain with no issues at all. I was so impressed with how well it worked that I ended up buying a second one. It’s reliable, durable, and makes outdoor power management really simple.

Another solid Kasa entry
Works perfectly in the Kasa app. I got the “Matter” one for future proofing, as much as that is possible. Note: in the app, each outlet is its own entry, so you can control them separately. But if you’re only using one outlet, you can just name the unused one accordingly. Did not test weather proofing, but the design looks good as long as it’s placed correctly.

I use it with Matter exposed into Aqara app (since I mostly have Aqara devices. They do not have outdoor rated plug, so tried this one and works well. There are some advanced features only available in the Kasa app (So I have it).Only supports 2.4Ghz WIFI – and your phone to setup the device MUST be on that (not a 5g to same router – that took 1h to determine).Missing: the indoor version shows power history in the Kasa app – this just shows usage – hours on, not power used (watts/Amps). I do not have them exposed to harsh weather, but they were outside in Canada show for ~2 months and no issues.Oddly it was 2+ weeks to deliver (ordered twice and both were slow)
