Works fine, but may not meet your needs
So first, there’s nothing technically wrong with these outlets, they connect and function as advertised. But, for those of you who may be like myself and using Home Assistant, just know that while these outlets do offer energy monitoring, that part of the device is not available as an entity in Home Assistant. And although the energy consumption does show in the app and refreshes constantly at the top of the screen, the cumulative total only updates every 30 minutes. Not great for polling your energy consumption. Without the power entity being available in Home Assistant, it isn’t possible to pull these into the energy dashboard, which was really the whole reason I’d gotten them. $400 spent on 24 of these outlets, but will be returning 3 of the 6-packs, since they don’t serve the purpose I was looking for, which was to replace all the external smart plugs I’ve been using up to now.

Ease of installation:Installed like any other outlet. Connected super fast and easy! The only thing I don’t like is that each receptacle does not log usage separately. You can control them individually, tho.

I did not try tuyaConvert or cloudCutter, but I flashed ESPHome to this Beken BK7231N.Amazon won’t let me post links to ESPHome, but look under ESPHome Devices for configuration and flashing instructions.

Wi-Fi won’t connect despite carefully following all instructions
very disappointing. The app is actually made by the same company that made the BN-LINK app. And both of these fail to connect to a WiFi network that all other outlets work with.
