Works with Smartthings
I’m extremely impressed with the ZigBee Smart Plug! It works seamlessly with SmartThings, connecting directly without the need for any additional apps—super convenient! The setup was straightforward, and it integrated into my smart home system effortlessly.One of my favorite features is the power monitoring, which works great. I love being able to track energy usage right from my SmartThings app. Plus, the set of four is a fantastic bargain; it’s a great value for the price!Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their smart home setup!

Excellent Zigbee 3.0 plugs.
Good Zigbee 3.0 plugs, has mesh repeater function built in. Working great directly paired to the Echo Show 8 V3 (which has built in Zigbee hub). No other hub or software needed. So these plugs are off the Internet, and work when the Internet goes down. In that event, they are controlled directly by the Echo Show 8 V3 on screen smart home control. Tip: If you have a weak signal area, use a little Zigbee repeater to fill in the dead zones. About $7 from Chinese shopping sites, they plug into USB charger and make the whole network incredibly robust (for larger networks)

No Firmware Updates via Zigbee2MQTT with Home Assistant.
The title says it all. They advertise as being compatible with Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT. And it kinda is. The outlets connect and work, BUT they do expose the firmware upgrade via this connection. These types of smart home devices often get frequent firmware updates, but you’ll remain stuck on whatever version is shipped to you. Who knows, they may already have a fix for this, but since I can’t upgrade, I don’t know‼️❌❌So I returned them and purchased more Third Reality Zigbeee outlets.❌❌

Great Zigbee control.
I’ve used these to automate about a dozen or so lamps and night lights (to keep them on only at night).They are really easy to set up and I linked them to my Googlesphere by installing them through my SmartLife app.They are small enough to be relatively discreet and don’t interfere with other plugs in a duplex or power strip. I also like that they allow me to monitor electricity usage as well.Just know that you will need a ZigBee hub plugged into your home’s WiFi to operate these.

reliable but current monitoring maybe finicky?
Using these with home assistant. Zigbee compatibility seems to be great. Switching on/off is very reliable.I also like that this has current / power monitoring. However it seems like the power monitoring is a little inconsistent. I see frequent “dropouts” where it temporarily reports zero.

They Just Work [with Home Assistant]
These ZigBee Smart Plugs worked as I expected. I plugged them in and Home Assistant had them ready for Zha as quick as a bunny. Nothing to complain about. Only 2 differences from the other brand I’ve been using – the sensor names are a bit different but obviously so and the devices themselves are 3/8″ (1cm) narrower which lets more of an adjacent outlet show in a 4 gang outlet box. I do not have any other hubs or ecosystem to report on – just HA/Zha.

By far the easiest Zigbee pairing devices. Good feature set.
I own more than 70 Zigbee devices of different types in my house and these are the easiest to pair so far. Just plug them in the first time and didn’t even have to press any button and they’re already in pairing mode; Zigbee2MQTT recognize them in one shot. The pluses: (1) Ease of pairing (2) Shows energy consumption (3) Has a child lock mechanism (4) Has a timer for countdown. It is a legitimate concern that there’s no firmware upgrade from Home Assistant, but for me, I feel comfortable with that aspect for a simple switch like this. For the price, these are some of the best purchases I’ve made. Total recommendation on my part.Update: I did see a firmware update from Zigbee2MQTT for this device. So the comment about no firmware update from another reviewer is not correct. Another plus for this device. I’d give this a 4.5 stars.Update2: 2 out of 4 devices failed. They slowly became flaky over timer, then just died – I’m reducing the number of stars. Reliability seems to be an issue with these.
