Works perfectly! Using to control an outdoor fountain.
Works perfectly! Bind easily. Using to control an outdoor fountain… trying to reduce evaporation rate by not running the fountain when it’s dark outside. I can also use an Amazon voice command to turn it off easily when higher winds are present so the water doesn’t blow away.Bound nicely with good signal to my WiFi mesh. Seems to have a good waterproof outdoor-safe construction. This is now my 19th Leviton light controller, I’ve had some for many years and they have been working like champs!

Powers on and off my church keyboard equipment
This fit my purpose perfectly. I’m a keyboardist in a Contemporary Christian church band with about four components that need to power up, warming up the vacuum tubes before band practice begins at 7:30am on Sunday, then go off at 12:00noon. Works flawlessly, even went through the daylight savings time change, which I didn’t even think about. If I’m off for a weekend, I can go on the app and make sure it’s turned off for that day. It will be on the next time it’s needed without having to reprogram. Leviton is a awesome electronic company.

Great outdoor Wi-Fi timer
I have at least 10 Leviton Wi-Fi devices and love them. I needed an outdoor switch to replace an older digital one I had with no DST setting and that was not intuitive to adjust or set up. This connects to the same app as my other devices, setup is easy, and I never have to worry about DST!

Works as advertised
Works well as long as it is within your Wifi range. The app is easy to use, but I could not get the HomeKit integration to work. The only real negative, I wish it had a flat plug instead of the normal one, it would make it easier to fit inside outdoor receptacles that have a cover.

Flawless Performance – A Massive Upgrade Over GE Cync
The Leviton Decora Smart Wi‑Fi Outdoor Plug D215O-1RE has been a complete game changer for my setup. I originally bought it to replace a GE Cync plug, which was a constant headache—mainly due to the app and unreliable performance. The difference with Leviton is night and day.Setup was smooth and straightforward, and once connected, it just works. The app is stable, responsive, and easy to navigate—no disconnects, no delays, no fighting with it to get things done. That alone makes it worth the switch.Performance has been flawless. Commands go through instantly, whether I’m using the app or voice control. Integration with platforms like Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Home/Siri is seamless, which makes it easy to fit into any smart home setup. The build quality is exactly what you want for outdoor use. It feels durable, weather-resistant, and built to handle the elements without concern. Once installed, it’s truly a set-it-and-forget-it device. If you’ve dealt with unreliable smart plugs or frustrating apps, this is the upgrade you’re looking for. Reliable, responsive, and well built—this is how a smart outdoor plug should perform. Highly recommended.

Quality device
Very easy setup, the way it’s supposed to be, unlike the Meross junk it has replaced.

The last Leviton product I’ll probably ever buy
I’m not sure if this thing was DOA or if their app is just terrible. I killed over an hour trying to get this thing to connect to the app before finally giving up. It’s been returned. The ironic thing is that I bought this product because of the Leviton name. I ended up buying a cheaper product from a brand I’ve never heard of, and setup was a breeze. It took longer to install their app than it did to get the smart plug working.

Works flawlessly
Haven’t had rain or anything land on it, but sits outside and works like a charm

Great outdoor outlet, it was one of the easiest devices I ever paired with HomeKit. Has both Canadian and US safety approvals (which for me is a must-have for anything that’s going to be plugged in and left unattended).I’m using it to control a fountain pump in the garden. It’s very hard to find a HomeKit outlet that is suitable for electric motors and pumps (most are for lighting only), so was very happy to discover this unit had “fountain pumps” listed as one of the recommended uses!I’ve tried other outdoor HomeKit outlets for lighting, and found that they occasionally lose contact with HomeKit, and need to be unplugged and plugged back in to regain connectivity. So far, this unit has been rock solid (I’ve used Leviton HomeKit light switches inside my house, and they’ve been super-reliable and never needed resetting, so fingers crossed this unit will stand the test of time too).Worth the extra money in my opinion, best HomeKit outlet I’ve ever used.

These are great for outdoor lighting, full-time and seasonal (Christmas and Halloween). In the off-season, we use them for the grow-lights on our seeds. Easy to install to our Apple Home, very reliable.

I use Apple HomeKit as my main smart home controller app. The unit paired to my system easily. It resides outside. Though there are a few interior walls and an outside brick wall separating the unit from my wifi router, the connection has been consistent and responsive. The unit appears to be robustly built. The plastic housing is solid and resilient. Connecting wire shielding is of a tough, flexible plastic. The whole unit looks to be well sealed from outdoor weather.I’ve had this unit for a couple of months with no negative incidents thus far. I’m very pleased.I’ve owned this unit for a couple of months.

I installed this at our house for our patio lights. A friend liked the idea so much I helped him install one for his patio lights. However, these are tricky to install. I followed the package and online instructions and both times it was finicky. Had to repeat the instructions several times before I got it to connect to the network and switch and work. But, once set up it’s been working flawlessly ever since. And, FYI, I had installed about 20 Leviton smart switches and plugs around my home before installing this. I don’t know why this one is so much more finicky to set up than the other Leviton products. But, again, as long as you are persistent and keep trying you’ll eventually get it to work.

Handy little outdoor switch, easy to set up with Matter. Unfortunate that the light sensor isn’t accessible from a Matter setup directly and seemingly requires their cloud-based app. Otherwise it’s quick to set up and works without drama.
