Once batteries added it was an immediate connection to my TV and the backlit buttons are great
It took a moment to slide the back off to insert the batteries but most remotes have the same issue for me.As soon as the batteries were in the buttons lit up, it connected with my TV with zero issues, and was immediately working better with the TV than the Samsung remote ever did.Easy and cheap – I would have bought this ages ago if I had known.

I like to turn the lights off when I’m watching TV and never can see the remote so this is perfect. You can turn the lights off and still see the remote so you can change network networks.

It works!
Works! Put batteries in and the remote lit up. Not sure if I paired it properly or not but it started working right away. It didn’t need paired if I did it wrong lol I was under the impression that something would pop up on the screen during pairing mode and I never saw anything at all. The quick buttons at the bottom work. Everything works as it should. Compatible with a Samsung tv that was left in my basement after my roommate moved out, not sure of the model but it was an older smart tv. Easy all around and not a lot of money.

Buttons wear out fast …
Better to spend $75 with Samsung original. This knockoff works but the buttons wear out in about a month of use. I am retired so I may have more use on it but the buttons get to the point of having to mash hard to work. Then they eventually stop working completely. I went through 2 sets of these before I spent more on the original Samsung replacement from the Samsung store online. You may have to wait a bit for the original because they make them after ordering so it takes about a month. The Samsung original lasts about 2 years for my use.

Great backlit remote for our Samsung TV
We bought a new Samsung TV a few months ago and the remote that came with it was good but not backlit, and the wheel to fast forward or rewind was a bit harder to use. Plus, only one remote and two people. So found this one on Amazon and it was great value for the money, so we wanted to try it. It works great! Connected to the TV right away, no issues there so it’s fully compatible. Does everything the other remote does – and it’s backlit, which is so important as I like my rooms dark in the evening. Definitely recommend!
