Finding additional sensors may be a problem.
This PGST Home Alarm System works with the Smart Life and Tuya apps, depending on which one you choose to use. I already had the Smart Life app on my phone for other devices and so I chose to use it. My hope was that it would work with other Smart Life door sensors I already had, but unfortunately it did not.It also works with Alexa and Google Assistant. Since I already had the Smart Life app connected to Alexa, it was added automatically, when adding the alarm to Smart Life. Otherwise, you’ll need to install the Smart Life skill in the Alexa app. This will allow you to arm and disarm the alarm by telling Alexa.The alarm system comes with a base station, a power cord and charger, hardware for hanging the base station, a window/door sensor, an infrared motion sensor, the instruction manual and two remotes with a SOS button, along with buttons for arming/disarming the alarm system. I didn’t think the manual was easy to follow, but the product video is easy to follow for installation purposes.The alarm system works as described, including the ability to arm/disarm with Alexa. It will send notifications to your phone, which is helpful when you’re away from home. The base station alarm is very loud and easy to hear. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a volume button to turn it down, if you just wanted to use it for a door chime, but then that’s not it’s purpose, either. I will probably never use the remotes, since I’ll arm/disarm with Alexa, but the SOS button could also be used to call for help, should that be a need for other reasons.I had never heard of PGST before now, but they seem to specialize in home alarm equipment and so I hope that means it’s not a “fly by night” brand that will disappear tomorrow. Since this system only comes with a single window/door sensor and a single motion sensor, most people will likely need to buy additional sensors, as well. Checking their Amazon storefront, PGST appears to sell the motion sensor and the remotes as accessories, but unfortunately, I can only find the window/door sensors available in other kits. Hopefully they just sold out and will restock, because no one is going to want to buy another kit for additional accessories.I’ll finish by noting that the sensors and remotes are powered by batteries, while the base station is powered with a USB-C charger. Overall, it’s a fairly typical Smart Life alarm system, but it adds Alexa integration. I wish it came with more sensors and I worry that finding additional sensors may be difficult, however.Edit: After searching Amazon for “PGST”, I was able to find additional PGST window/door sensors that don’t show up in their Amazon store for some reason. I assume these will work with this alarm system, but I wouldn’t guarantee it.

This home security alarm system has been a great addition to my house. It arrived well packaged with everything clearly organized, and the setup process was much easier than expected. The instructions were straightforward, and I had everything up and running in a short amount of time without needing professional installation.The system itself works reliably—the sensors respond quickly, and the alarm is loud enough to definitely get attention. I also like that it gives added peace of mind, whether I’m home or away. The components feel well made and durable, not flimsy.One thing I appreciate is how customizable it is depending on your setup, which makes it flexible for different spaces. Overall, this is a solid, user-friendly security system that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great value for the level of protection it provides.

My kit only had 1 door & 1 motion sensor and works OK, no faceplate keypad.
Interesting that the product I have and providing a review for is no longer shown on the website. Fortunately, the versions available now are for much more extensive kits with multiple door/window and motion sensors. My kit is very basic with a single door/window sensor and a single motion detector. I have to assume the products available today are representative of what I have, but keep in mind there could be some differences. My system does NOT have the cool face plate interface which is kinda the most attractive part of the system.The intention of this kit is to monitor my garage in Chicago while away for work. Hopefully, I will get a notice is someone has entered my garage uninvited.The system includes a puck that looks like Amazon Alexa and that serves as a siren. You’d want to mount that somewhere out of reach. The App on your phone will provide the basic notification if one or both are activated.Siren is loud enough to get someone’s attention if they are outside, but it is essentially intended to inform the intruder that they have been spotted. It’s not so loud that you’ll be drawing in neighbors to investigate.Setting the alarm can be done with a key fob or the App.Conclusion: I cannot speak for the systems being sold now because the faceplate keypad is a big improvement over what I ordered. That said, the motion detector works and is sensitive enough.

I’m so glad I was able to find this Home Alarm System Wireless here! there’s nothing else I could include here to best describe how this product helped me in my daily life needs… provides an extra safety for your place, it connects to wifi and it’s entirely remote controllable (no need to pay membership which is a plus!!!)… It’s Durable, lightweight and high quality; very worth it, I will definitely recommend it!
