The Monoprice SW-15 15in 600 Watt Powered Subwoofer will add deeper bass and more dramatic impact to any music or home theater system. Featuring a front firing 15in woofer, a powerful 600 watt RMS (800 watt peak) amplifier, and a down-firing port, the compact Monoprice SW-15 will add fuller, cleaner bass to any system in any room!
15in Driver: Size does matter. The heavy duty, long throw, front firing driver has been engineered to produce gobs of impactful deep bass and can pressurize larger spaces. This ensures you are hearing and feeling bass on every music track or your favorite movie.
Powerful Amplifier: 600 Watts of Class D Power. Complete control. Use the easy access, rear panel controls to tune the bass to your preferences. The volume control and low pass filter allow you to blend the bass from the subwoofer into the sound from your main speakers. The phase control can compensate for subwoofer positioning and the power mode turns auto standby on or off.
Simple Hook-Up: Plug and Play. Use the RCA inputs to connect to a dedicated subwoofer output or to preamp outputs on your amp or use the speaker level inputs to connect to the speaker outputs, if your amp lacks subwoofer or preamp outputs.
Ported design.
30 ~ 150Hz frequency response.

Good solid punchy bass
This is a great subwoofer for the price point. If you respect the volume and don’t plan on blasting it to the point of being distorted, it will last a long time. I use it for music only on a two channel system. Good solid punchy bass.

Let’s be clear, they sound amazing until they quit working and they will quit
These have a fantastic earth shattering bass, they sound good, clean and tons of deep deep bass. However, I bought 2 of these, within a few months one quit working and the light just kept flashing then soon after the second one developed a constant thumping sound. I contacted Monoprice and they asked that I return them but they wouldn’t send me the new woofers (boxes is what I wanted) until I sent back the old ones nor would they supply boxes so I had to pay 45 dollars for boxes plus the hassle of sending these big ass things back. They still have not sent me woofers nor have they replied to several emails. I have never had issues with Monoprice but I think this one will keep me from being a future customer. AMAZON will not take action either because they were purchased 6 months ago or thereabouts… Ya know, I’m a business and this is how I make money, I may buy a product and not use them for 6 months before they get bought and installed. I offer free installation within 10 miles so I know it got hooked up correctly, Great sound, but the amps suck! Both Monoprice and Amazon have left bad tastes in my mouth. I’m pretty sure I can spend thousands elsewhere with cheaper pricing and better customer service! This whole ordeal is ridiculous! Monoprice will no longer be receiving purchases from my entire state because I’m the one that approves electronic purchases in the state and I have submitted forms to remove Monoprice from our EZBuy website. Suck it Monoprice! You pissed off the right person this time. Eventually, you get someone else. I’m already working with other companies to get them to remove you from the buy list, most of which do professional installs for huge buildings like sports stadiums. Done and done. Monoprice won’t even get back to me anymore to try and make things right. I don’t normally do things like this but they aren’t a company with ethics and morals, if they were they would have contacted me by now to make things right.

Big bang for the buck! Update: It died 🙁
Blows away my Klipsch subs, WAY better sound but much larger if space is an issue. I love this sub!Update: Just quit, blinking red light and sending feedback back to my system. Contacted support waiting for replacement info since still in warranty…

Cheap design
Budget always goes one of two ways. A deal. Or a steal. This is a steal. As in stealing your money. It’s got an excellent cabinet and a decent amp.But the sub itself is cheap junk. If you push it hard you’ll blow the voice coil and it doesn’t have good maximum excursion if you want to push it to high volume. This sub is cheap for a reason and it’s a bad one. It’s cheaply built. Shop Polk subs. Thank me later. A Polk PSW10 absolutely humiliated one of these.

Stops working less than 2 months
The sound was great. For almost 2 months. Then it stopped working all together. Solid red blinking light. I used the woofer a week ago, no issue. Went to use it today, blinking red light. No green. Just red. Does nothing. Amazon support says there is no resolution. Just out of luck. If you want this thing for a party for one night, it will be great. If you want to use it for more, find something else. Only 2 stars because it was great while it lasted. Very disappointing. Will look for other options and leave comment at that time.

Price is right
They may not be the best out there, but they sound good to this non-audiophile. I had two JBL 12″ subs that went out and these went in their place. I will say that they just barely fit behind the theater screen wall as they are much bigger than the JBLs I had. I don’t think you will beat these for the price without DIYing them.

Great while it worked
After a problem with my previous 12 inch subwoofer in my home theater, I needed to find a replacement, while looking, I came across this subwoofer a little larger than my old 12 inch but a good price and cheaper than most 12 inch models so I decided to give it a chance. Hooked up and tested it and it sounded even better than the original. The only problem was it was about a half inch wider, and would not fit into the cabinet the old one did. So I had to spend a couple days modifying the cabinet so the new one would fit and it works great.UPDATE: AFTER 10 MONTHS GOT THE FLASHING RED LIGHT OTHERS COMPLAINED ABOUT. DEAD!!!Speaker still good so looking for a replacement Amp but haven’t found one yet.

Looking for a good subwoofer that extends into the 20Hz range, while keeping the budget under $1000 after tax. There are a number of good subs out there, but the lower the frequency performance, the higher the price! I wanted a 12 inch, but to get the performance I needed, I would have to spend a lot more than I wanted. The SW-15 hits the sweet spot, between price and performance. Only downsize is the huge box. But I have the performance I wanted, and I have a smile on when I play my music! Good sub. Recommended.
