Really good product 5 minutes to install and 10 to program to WiFi

Video doesn’t work reliably
Unreliable video connection completely kills the value of this product. The light itself is designed well enough and the way to attach the camera is very smart and not overly complicated. However, as others have noted, the video connection to the camera is completely unusable. At first, it wouldn’t show me anything. After a few hours, I was able to receive notifications and get a good picture. Then, in the morning, it went back to not working at all.I need a reliable camera where I can view video on demand. Sadly this does not meet the need so I will have to spend more money on a Eufy or Reolink solution.

Misleading information
I wouldn’t buy again because the light doesn’t operate separate from the camera. I thought the light had its own motion detector sensor but it doesn’t and when it does come on doesn’t stay on long enough. No settings to change it.

Great soffit installation option light
I ordered this light for my son who lives in a brick house and just installed a patio door leading from his kitchen to his back yard. He was going to cut a hole in the brick to mount a box to install a light to the side of the patio door to light the yard. This light has the ability to be mounted in the soffit saving the integrity of the brick and allowing for an easier and reversable installation and also an installation protected from the weather. His soffit is vinyl, so we needed to add some framing above the soffit to place the light in the proper position and to securely support it. Cutting the vinyl was a breeze and the installation look great. The light is nice and bright and can be controlled with a flip of the switch. I’m rating the light at 4 stars and not 5 simply because I’m not sure of the longevity of the bulbs. I would highly recommend this light for a soffit installation.

This light / Camera works very well has good quality video if it is a little far from your wifi use the SD mode it helps with connection

Good camera for the price
I love this camera! The app is a little wonky sometimes but it always records when it detects motion. The spot light is very bright and can be adjusted too.
