Is a WiFi connection mandatory for this camera to work?
Yes. A 2.4GHz WiFi network is absolutely REQUIRED for the initial setup, live streaming, and receiving alerts. This camera does not function as a standalone, non-connected recording device.
My camera won’t connect to the app. How to fix it?
1. Check power (indicator on).
2. Update Ubox App to the latest version.
3. Enable location & Bluetooth on your phone.
4. Try “Reconfigure Network” in-app.
5. Reset by holding reset button 10s till light flashes if failed, retry setup.
What to do if the camera does not recognize the Memory Card?
Ensure that you insert the Memory Card correctly, checking that the insertion direction and position are correct
Reinsert the Memory Card–Power off camera, reinsert the Memory Card into the slot in the correct orientation, then power on the camera
The camera goes offline or has a weak signal. What can I do?
1. Ensure the camera is within strong 2.4GHz WiFi range.
2. Disable router “AP/Client Isolation”.
3. Restart the camera and router.
4. Factory reset (hold reset button 10s) and re-install via Ubox App.
How do I perform a factory reset?
Locate the reset button (small hole), use a pin to press and hold for about 10 seconds until you hear a voice prompt or see the indicator light flash rapidly. This will erase all settings and allow you to set up the camera as new.

Excellent security cameras with easy to use app.
I bought 4 of these for monitoring our home, 1 on each corner. The mounts included were easy to install, but I had to fabricate an extension for 2 to be able to rotate to look down 2 sides of the house. Definition is excellent and the night spotlight works well to illuminate for clearer viewing. I’m using SD cards to record movement alerts. The movement sensitivity is adjustable, the solar panels keep the batteries charged and hardware included gives you everything you need for installation. Connecting to my WiFi system was easy. The app settings give me all the options I need. Some features require testing to see which fits your needs, but is not too hard to figure out. I enjoy the peace of mind these cameras provide when we are away from home to get delivery alerts or check on our house.Customer service from the manufacturer has been excellent. I had a mechanical issue with one cameras tilt operation and Monica shipped out a replacement that arrived quickly. They responded within hours of my inquiry. This company stands behind their products. Thanks for all your help

Got these because someone was vandalizing our property so we wanted a deterrent plus evidence if it happened again.The Good:Easy setup, super long battery life and excellent charging from solar panels, good image quality with very efficient storage, consistent wifi connection. Mia from customer support was also wonderful when one of the LED lights started acting up (*see below).Best of all, we’ve had no incidents since putting them up almost 6 months ago!The not-so-good:App UI is awkward and slow to respond, which can be frustrating. The motion detector is laggy (cameras activate several seconds after a human enters their field of vision) and only records 10 or 20 second snippets of video at a time (depending on how you have it set), which means some important action could be missed.*One of the cameras started randomly blinking its LED light after a few months, which led to flashing video and a strobe-like effect for passersby at night. After a little troubleshooting, Mia sent a brand new camera which has been working flawlessly for a month or so now. Defects happen, but they handled it very well and that instills confidence.Overall, very satisfied with the value here, and would recommend them for the price!

These cameras are very nice. They working very well I have 4 that I have positioned around my home. The pictures are clear and the cameras work very easily with the app. Customer service os also very helpful and speedy with ther response. I had a question about SD cards and Mia was quite pleasant and extremely helpful

Do not need to run electric to it all in one package
I am very happy with this purchase one on each corner of my house covers the front yard in the backyard very easy to install easy to use and also works with Starlink. The night vision is great and it’s fun to mess with the dogs. I didn’t realize, but once you buy the package they give you an option for extended warranty plus an SD card for free I dealt with the person whose name is. Deer easy to work with definitely would recommend this product to anyone.

The WiFi range is fantastic I put one in my chicken coop at the back of my property and it worked great, other cameras I tried before I got this one would not connect that far away. I had to contact customer service about a problem that occurred after the return window closed and they solved my problem and issued a full refund. Wonderful product.. wonderful customer service!! I would definitely recommend

Good product. Got a replacement when one stopped working.
We got these cameras a few months ago and overall, we like them. The picture quality is great. I don’t even switch it to HD, because SD works just fine for us. Night mode isn’t stellar. You do have to pay for a subscription *per camera* to use their cloud saving feature. Recently, one of the cameras stopped working. It disconnected and nothing we did would make it work again. I contacted their support and was able to speak with a human easily. Please keep in mind that if you’re in the US, you won’t get a response until the middle of the night because of the time difference. They were helpful, and even though we couldn’t troubleshoot it to get it to work again, they sent a replacement camera. It came in like a day later. Overall, I’m still happy with the product and customer service. It’s easy to use their app, and the solar charge lasts through the night.
