Does this security camera support 5G wifi connection?
No, it doesn’t support 5G Wi-Fi, it can only connect to 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi.
If you use EERO, you need to disable [advanced settings] and 5G for a while to get the 2.4G devices connected. Once done, you can reenable the settings.
Does the outdoor camera wireless support motion 24/7 continuous recording?
No, it doesn’t support 24/7 continuous recording as it is a low-power camera with requiring power-saving for a balance battery-powered working status. But it
can detect and record motion via PlR, generating motion alerts and save them in the app.
What should I do if the camera won’t hold a charge or the battery drains quickly?
You can try to adjust the sensitivty level to reduce false alarms,and set the power saving mode to conserve battery power. We recommend placing the camera
in direct sunlight with enough solar power to ensure the camera stays charged.
Do I have to subscribe to the Clouad Service to see the recordings?
No, you can check 2 days video loop in ALERT page with no subscription. And if you go REPLAY, it will show on subscription details for your reference, which can be safely ignored. You can absolutely use the camera with no any subscription or sd card.
Why does camera not detect long range?
Our camera supports detection at a maximum distance of 8 meters.
You can adjust the motion detection to performance mode and adjust the lens angle to position the target detection area in the lower half of the frame.

These Aogee quality security cameras are reliable and easy-to-use.I’m very satisfied with these cameras.They are very easy to set up, since they are wireless, and solar charged. I was able to install them wherever I wanted, and I have the ability to move them if I choose.I live on 13 acres, so the cameras were placed at the front and rear entrances to my home. The solar panels are great! I haven’t had to recharge the batteries at all, even after several weeks of use. The smart motion detection accurately identifies people vs. animals. The live and recorded feeds are clear, and the night vision looks great. This gives me an extra sense of security knowing I’ll be alerted if there is something going on at either door. I can listen in and talk to anyone/anything in that area.

I’ve tried several security cameras over the years (including Ring and a couple of no-name brands), and this Y8 solar camera honestly surprised me. Setup took less than 10 minutes, and it connected to my 2.4GHz WiFi without any issues.The solar panel actually works—I’ve had it outside for over a week and the battery stays near full charge, even with motion alerts going off daily. Crystal-clear solar-powered outdoor cameras
A few months back I purchased a home security system for my home. It came with contact sensors and motions detectors , but the one thing it was lacking was cameras. A way for me to actually see what’s happening while I’m away from home. I was able to solve that problem with these cameras from AOQEE.The mounting process is fast and simple. It comes with all the mounting hardware you’ll need to place them nearly anywhere. I love that the solar panel is separate from the camera itself and has a generous length of cable because I can mount the camera in a location that maybe doesn’t get a whole lot of sunlight, but position the solar panel somewhere that does.Software setup couldn’t be easier. You just download the app to your phone, create an account and password, turn on the camera, and the app takes care of the rest. My cameras were ready to use faster than I could descend the ladder.I’m now able to monitor any and all activity right from my phone. Motion detection alerts register almost immediately and are sensitive enough to detect squirrels in my yard. You can adjust the sensitivity for larger intruders. It has an audible alarm sound to deter intruders, which is a feature than can be turned off if not desired. The picture is incredibly clear. Infrared mode is stunning, and the full-color night vision is a game-changer.These outdoor cameras are an affordable addition to my security system and give me peace-of-mind while I’m away from home.
