Easy Setup, Fast Keypad, and No Lockout Headaches
I replaced another smart lock after it decided to reset itself and lock me out while I was standing outside in 14-degree weather, trying to power it with a 9V battery. Not a great experience.Time will tell with this one, but I own a ton of Wyze products across my houses and generally trust the brand. One thing I really like is that if the internal battery dies, this lock uses a proper USB-C port for emergency power. That alone should eliminate the connection issues I had with the 9V setup on my previous lock. There’s also a physical key option, so I don’t have to worry about getting locked out again.Setup and installation were very quick and straightforward. If you can install a standard deadbolt, you can install this lock — it’s about the same level of effort. Like everything else from Wyze, it also integrated smoothly with Alexa.The finish looks great, and there are a few standout usability details worth mentioning. The fingerprint reader is very fast and reliable, and it’s what I use most of the time to unlock the door. Even though the keypad is electrostatic, it’s far more responsive than others I’ve used. There’s essentially no latency — the beep is immediate, so it’s very obvious when a number has been registered. That makes it much easier (and less frustrating) to use, especially for kids. Finally, there’s a status light at the top of the lock. If I enter the wrong code or it doesn’t recognize my fingerprint, it flashes red right away. The feedback is clear and unambiguous.

Terrific deadbolt!
Incredibly easy to install, took under 10 minutes with a Phillips head screwdriver. Comes with everything you need (aside from said screwdriver) to install and get going. Simple to program in the Wyze app and using the fingerprint scanner on the keypad of the lock. It is obviously much larger than the original deadbolt but I’m willing to deal with that for all the functions it has built in. Remote lock and unlock, notifications if anything occurs with the lock including if it fails to lock/unlock or gets stuck, fingerprint entry, code entry, temporary codes, keyed entry with two included keys and all the batteries are included. Really enjoy everything about Wyze’s Auto-Lock Bolt v2.

Convenient and Reliable Smart Lock
The Wyze Auto-Lock Bolt v2 was easy to install and works great right out of the box. The fingerprint reader is fast and accurate, and it unlocks the door in just a second. I like the auto-lock feature because I don’t have to worry about forgetting to lock the door anymore. The build quality feels solid and the app setup was simple to follow. Overall, this is a very convenient and reliable smart lock for the price.

Wyze is the way to go. Especially on a budget.
I bought and installed this lock about a month or two ago. After plenty of use, I can finally review it. Overall I will say it is a well built, reliable, fast, “smart” lock.First the pros: The fingerprint scan is super fast. I replaced a Eufy lock with this Wyze lock and it is faster. The Eufy lock kept jamming up. This lock is smoooooth. I love that you get an actual key if you want to bypass the touch screen, fingerprint scanner or if the batteries die. The touchpad is good quality and easy to use. Lastly, I would recommend the Wyze app and ease of use. I used Eufy for a few years and over time it became unreliable, slow and bloated.Cons: Not crazy about having to use AA batteries. But after the last month of two using the lock several times a day. It’s only down to 94%. The one feature that kinda bugs be is that it does not detect when the door is open and will auto lock after the set time no matter if the door is closed or not. So when bringing groceries in or whatever and leaving the door open the door will lock. So you’ll be unlocking manually every time. HOPEFULLY, it can be updated through software at some point. Although the touchpad is easy to use it would be nice if it lit up when approaching or after tapping the screen. At night it’s a little tough to get it started by just tapping numbers if it’s dark.In the end, I would recommend this lock. It is a good value compared to locks that are comparable in features. Also great if you are in the Wyze eco system.

Wyze is the best
Easy to setup and super convenient. Love all of the features it has. So far it’s been installed for 2 months and battery life is 93%It’s annoying you can’t turn off the alarm after the doors unlocked for 5 mins. But it’s only once. Sometimes it takes a minute to recognize your finger print. But overall it’s been a great addition to our other wyze products!

Great value for low price
Typical Wize value. Very easy to install and set up. Real convenience, especially when paired with a Wyze video doorbell. Fingerprint opening works well and app control is another plus. Very high value for a low price IMHO.

Amazing product. It worked perfectly for my kitchen door and was easy to set up and use.If you are considering options, I would also recommend taking a look at the Wyze Palm Lock. It is a more advanced option for just a bit more. I personally purchased it for my main entrance door and have been very happy with it.Overall, I love Wyze products. Reliable, well designed, and great value. I fully support this brand.

This really is a big little lock.. The finger scanner works very well… better than I expected…. simple and not fussy.Very easy to assemble and install… I have some skills.On the negative side … the key pad beeps could be louder, especially for those hard of hearing… I’m sure the Wyze elves will sort this issue.A suggestion: the bolt shoots out after a set time – set by you – can this not happen when you decide to leave the door open … for what ever reason ? An extra button perhaps with #3.Looks great too.
