This is a really nice deadbolt, I just recently started using the digital locks with fingerprint technology and I don’t have any complaints so far. It hasn’t been very long come maybe a couple of weeks or so since I installed the new door knob on our front door, it has fingerprint technology just like this deadbolt. We like it really well so far, just like this deadbolt.I just installed the deadbolt yesterday, and I like it a whole lot also. It’s really nice to be able to gain access to the house, without having to pull a key out of my pocket. Or without even having to have a key in my pocket. That means I can decide the spirit of the moment that I want to go somewhere with one of my buddies, in his car, while he drives, which means I don’t need my car keys. So I can just jump up with my jogging pants or lounging clothes on, I’d probably have my wallet in my pocket, I have my smokes and lighter, and that’s all I really need to make sure and carry with me. I don’t need any car keys, I don’t need any keys at all. I can just hop up and go, with the keys still in my nightstand by the bed. And when I get back I just hold my thumb up to the door knob and then hold my thumb up to the deadbolt and I’m in. That’s a really great feeling to know that I don’t have to keep up with a key and I can still get in the door!Or if the whole biometrics deal just isn’t really your thing, then you can set yourself a pin to get back in, and when you get back home you can punch in your pin with anywhere from 3-9 digits to gain access.I don’t really like the buttons as much because if you live in a crowded place like an apartment then I would be more concerned about looking over my shoulder and blocking the view to the door knob while I’m putting in the pen because I wouldn’t want anybody to see what the plan is and possibly later do something sketchy while I’m not around. That’s just one other reason why I love the biometric option. I like the fingerprint much more, I feel like it’s a lot safer then the pin because nobody’s going to be able to get in because nobody else has my families fingerprints.Installation of the deadbolt is simple, it’s no more complicated than any other deadbolt that I’ve ever installed. It’s just the same standard operation, for which you’ll still need the same standard little tools. And this deadbolt, just like the door knob makes me feel very secure, which the feeling of security is definitely one of the most important factors, along with the actual security that it provides!In my opinion the asking price for this unit is most definitely fair and reasonable! I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family!!

Quick and easy install. No more keys!
This is the second one of these deadbolts that I have ordered because I have been pleased with the first. As far as I can tell, it is the same exact one. I have had the first one installed on an exterior door for about 8 months, and have had zero issues with it. It is also on an exterior door to my house, it gets used multiple times a day, and I have not had to change the batteries yet. So the quality you get for the price is unmatched. This time it will replace the deadbolt on the door leading to my attached garage.Installation was fairly quick, took about 15 minutes including removing the old deadbolt, installing this one, and programming a code. If you have installed door knobs before you should have no issue with this. It fits perfectly in the spot of the old deadbolt, no issues with the latch or anything. There is also an autolock feature, which I did not install but may do so at a later date. It is comprised of a sensor that plugs into another wire connector within the deadbolt and a magnet that you stick to the opposite side of the door frame. Both pieces come with 3M tape on them and sit outside of the deadbolt itself, so it may not be aesthetically pleasing to some people.

Handy deadbolt door lock
This is a pretty handy deadbolt door lock! It feels quite solid and sturdy. The deadbolt mechanism works smoothly and feels secure. The lock requires four AAA batteries, which are included, and has an alarm to warn you if your batteries are getting low.The one thing I would prefer would be biometric capability. Apart from that, this is a very nice electronic deadbolt lock.

Easy to Install, but Lacks Smart App Features
Installation was easy and straightforward, and the lock works as described with keypad access and auto-lock features. It’s a decent manual keyless lock for basic use.However, for almost the same price, you can find smarter options that are app-controlled and even come with Touch ID or fingerprint access. This model is a manual version only—you cannot connect it to an app, which feels like a limitation considering the current market.Overall, it’s functional and simple, but not the best value if you’re looking for smart features or remote control capabilities.
