Misleading, obsolete, and unsupported – Amazon should NOT be selling this
I almost never leave reviews, but this one deserves a warning label.This product – “Sengled Use Products, Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, HomeKit, Siri, Smart Hub, 1 Pack, White” – is essentially dead on arrival. As of Mid 2025, the servers and app no longer work, which means the “smart” part of this smart device is completely useless. No remote control, no automation, no integration. Just a dumb device being advertised as something it is not.What makes this worse is that Amazon is still listing it as compatible with Alexa and other smart assistants, as if everything is fine. It is NOT fine. Selling a product based on features that no longer exist is, at best, deeply misleading.Refunds are technically “available,” but here’s the catch:You have to return it to the original shipping destination.If you used a freight forwarder, you’re basically out of luck. No realistic way to return it, no real protection, and you’re just stuck with a useless product.So the problem isn’t just Sengled abandoning the platform – it’s Amazon’s policies, which do very little to protect the customer in situations like this. They continue to profit from an item that no longer functions as advertised, while pushing all the risk and inconvenience onto the buyer.If you’re considering this product: don’t.And if Amazon is serious about customer trust, they should either pull this listing or clearly state that the service and app are no longer supported and fix their return policy for cases like this.

I love this product I just wish it lasted longer then 2 yrs… I had one 3 yrs ago and had to buy another one a yrs ago and now I had to just buy a 3rd one…

Jan 2026, DO NOT BUY SENGLED PRODUCTS. (Sengled Home App does NOT work as of ~August 2025)
Sengled Hub products rely on their iPhone (only, no Android version) app to control the hub and any devices connected to the hub. Sengled Home app or the Sengled server backend for the last 6-8 months has been down or fails to function, so you cannot login to the Sengled Home App, and unfortunately you MUST login in order to access your devices.As a result, all my Sengled light blubs hooked up to the Hub, or independant (I have a few of the Wifi and Bluetooth bulbs) WILL NOT WORK!After 2-3 weeks of troubleshooting my old hub which I thought had gone bad, turns out it’s not the hub, it’s the Sengled App rarely works anymore, their authentication servers do not let you login.On the off chance you are able to login, the option to link your devices to Alexa or Google Home or Apple Home automation also DOES NOT WORK. After several months, I’ve decided it’s time to toss my now worthless Sengled products, or offload them on someone while warning them that the product is absolutely worthless, but thankfully works OK as a basic light bulb.Yes, I tried to reach out to Sengled, but their support number is non-existant, and their website email support ticket system is not monitored. (You won’t get a response)DO NOT BUY SENGLED PRODUCTS!

A good simple smart home controller. Works well with Google Home.
I originally bought a Hubitat for my Sengled bulbs. I wanted to get those bulbs off my router. I found out these home routers will drop devices when they reach 60+. I was having a heck of a time with drops and I have a very good Ubiquity mesh network. All of the home routers will experience this issue when you hit 70 – 80 plus devices which happens very fast when you add up all those bulbs. I have gone through 5 other brands to learn this expensive lesson (every home router system seems to brag how they can manage 150 devices….NOPE). Anyway the Hubitat is nice but does not work well with Sengled bulbs. Even though they advertise as Zigbee. I could not get the bulbs to pair up with Google Home through Hubitat. They paired up to the Hubtiat controller just fine, but I wanted the Google Home to control them with voice. Anyway I ended up returning the Hubitat and getting the Sengled controller. Everything works and syncs up very well now. The devices are off my router and am experiencing less drops. I would like to see Sengled develop more devices. The function is not as sophisticated as the Hubitat, and it relies on a network connection. So if your internet goes down the information you program for various routines will not be executed locally. For what I need it works very well. I didn’t want so many bells and whistles. It has been dependable so far and works my routines well. If your looking for something to really sink your teeth into as far as detailed programming features you may want to consider something else.

Not Alexa Compatible!
The hub works as intended for Sengled products. It is not however, compatible with Alexa. You will not find the Sengled Home in the list of Alexa Skills. All the references you might find online on how to add the skill in Alexa are old and are from prior to Amazon having stopped supporting Sengled. Amazon stopped their support of Sengled due to sever and constant issues with this product. I can attest that my Sengled lights used to work directly with Alexa without using a Sengled hub. Starting about couple of years ago, the lights kept losing their connections to Alexa and had to be reset and re-joined. They are still discoverable and joinable with Alexa but soon after they stop working again. I thought Sengled hub might help but sadly not.

Very difficult product to use (READ BELOW)
It’s not hard to set up, but very frustrating when it doesn’t work. Support can also be difficult to deal with because they will tell you things like “your router might have settings turned on that block this device”. Even though it connected fine, days later it just quit working? They couldn’t answer that. It was some other reason. Only to find out days later the “servers” that manage these went down. I went back and forth for a week only to find out it was THEIR issue. I needed this because I needed it for my HomePod. It’s now sitting on a shelf waiting to be thrown away because it was a waste of money. Prepare yourself if you buy it- NOT worth the headache. Or $30

Cada 48 hrs se desconectaban de la red y tenia que reiniciar, compre un concentrador zigbee moes (matter) fin del problema, los tuve que devolver ( ojo eran para reemplazar otro modelo de zengled que duro años)
