Home conditions monitoring made easy!
Once again, another product that is a great quality from inkbird. I really like this company as a go to for any type of temperature regulation. Here again, they nailed it with individual sensors and Wi-Fi. Monitoring of humidity and temperatures. The package came very well done everything was secure and all in one piece no broken items and no issues at all. The original connection was very simple. I connected right to the Wi-Fi with very little effort needed. The connection has been hooked up since I bought these and I haven’t had anythin but solid connection to the Wi-Fi and to these controllers. I have no reason to believe these won’t last a long time. They seem very solid right from the start. I placed the three monitoes in separate rooms far away from wifi along with the main monitor. No issues on distance or connections.Once again, the ink bird app is so easy to use with this product. You can customize everything, including all the alarms for any changes and humidity and temperature. I definitely enjoy the idea of knowing even when I’m not at the house and what the house is reading in all the rooms that I have the sensors. This little device and the monitors will keep me in the know how to what’s going on in my house, even when I’m not there a bonus with the Wi-Fi.I highly recommend this product, the seller and the company, because of how they react to any questions and how their product is in general. It’s hard to find a company that makes a product that’s worth even talking about anymore let alone recommending to the next person , which I definitely do.Way to go ink bird you nailed it again!Keep up the good work.

Good range and easy setup
I am a repeat customer because Inkbird makes good quality products. I bought these hygrometer sensors to monitor my humidors and refrigerator. The app setup was easy. I already had the app and the process to add the gateway and sensors was simple. The hardest thing is getting the screws out of the battery cover. Don’t bother with the tiny included screwdriver, go get a regular size screwdriver and make sure it is the proper phillips size.I put one of the sensors in my refrigerator. I was a bit surprised that the signal reaches from inside the fridge but it has been working great for a week so far. I had expected to need an external probe to monitor the refrigerator.Inkbird support is very responsive. I sent them an email on Sunday night, asking what model external probe I need for these sensors. The answered within 15 minutes. I asked a follow up question at around midnight and they responded again in about 15 minutes.Inkbird products and support are worth a premium.

Does not include the 6xAAA Batteries
Haven’t even completed setup because the product doesn’t come with batteries.None of the pictures mention this, and is barely mentioned in the pictures in the description.I ordered a cheaper Bluetooth govee unit that I didn’t like that came with batteries. But this nicer more expensive WiFi unit, you need to either buy or just have 6xAAA batteries on hand.I love INKBIRD products but this is just cheap, you guys gotta loosen the purse strings. Even just some garbage ones that get the job done for a little while.

Great for monitoring the whole house!
Love this thing! We just moved into a new house and wanted to make sure it was heating and cooling okay and that moisture was moving around the house properly. This little thing came in amazingly handy. It was super easy to set up. You just plug in the main unit, download the app and then set up the other subunits through the app. The only thing that was difficult was actually getting the screws off the back of the subunits to install batteries but other than that it’s worth it to be able to have temperature readout and humidity readout on each level of the house. It has a thing on the back for wall mounting too which is nice.

Misses the mark
Okay, first of all, I purchased this set with the wifi bridge and also purchased the pool sensor with indoor monitor so I could monitor 3 indoor locations and the pool on my phone.I just set this up 11/21/2023 so I’ll come back in a few months and give a better operational review.Setting up the 3 indoor sensors was a hassle to say the least – each sensor has 4 small screws on the back that you have take out to remove the back cover to install 2 x AA batteries and access the TX button. These screws did not want to come out easily. In fact, when I did get them out, I saw they had a small amount of white plastic melted to them so they were just spinning in their hole. It was very time-consuming and unnecessarily difficult to remove them. This made it difficult to set up the sensors because the TX button is also under the back cover.Once I had all 12 screws out (4 for each sensor), I decided to just leave them out and use painters tape to close the backs. This appears to have solved the screw shortcoming.Setting up the sensors was not seamless either, but once I got the hang of how it’s done, it went easier. The instructions are only marginally useful, but they have some nuggets of info you’ll need. Basically, follow these steps. The app?…oh, what a pain to initiate an account. Enter your email address and set your locale (country) to have a code emailed to you, then use it in the registration screen to get registered.1. Use an extension cord or power strip to plug in the wifi bridge and put it near you on the table or countertop you’re working on. You may need to unplug/plug in the bridge a couple times to add it to the app.2. Make sure the app is installed and you have the bridge added – this was somewhat straightforward.3. Click the + (add sensor) button, then insert the batteries in sensor 1 – I found this to be the best process.4. Repeat for the other 2 indoor sensors5. Repeat for other sensors you purchased separately.Do I recommend this unit? Well, I’m able to use it and it’s providing the data I want. But I don’t recommend it just because of the difficulty in setting it up. If you can get it set up, it appears to be working as advertised. It’s also working with the floating pool sensor. I have the three indoor sensors placed in my upstairs game room, in the attic, and one downstairs that I may put in my garage. As I said, I’ll update in a few months with operational data.UPDATE 7/01/2024 – Well, the pool sensor and 3 remote sensors are still working. I’ve had to change the batteries once, but it’s been working mostly nonstop. I updated my Wifi network so I had to re-add the control unit today, which again was not straightforward. Other than this, it’s been working as advertised. I’ve increased my rating to 3 start from 2 because I’m able to check the temps every day.
