Works Flawlessly
This was super easy to get paired with the app. I use both Smart Life and TuyaSmart and tested it on both apps and it paired without any problems at all. I also use both Alexa and Google Assistant, each for different reasons, and it was easily managed by both of those.I’m using it to control a set of lights in my garage workshop. I have a powerstip that I’ve plugged four sets of lights into and then plugged the power strip into the KinClean Smart Plug. This way I control all three without having to actually go around and turn all three of them on.This KinClean plug is FCC registered as well as RoHS certified giving peace of mind that it meets the European standards for hazardous material into the house.The plug is as well built as any I’ve seen and I can see it lasting for years without any issues at all and am glad to be able to run my shop lights with it. Now I need to get more so that I can do the same on the inside of my house.

Handy for tree lights
I set one of these up to control my Christmas lights, which were plugged into a hard to reach outlet (I did that to me). Made turning on lights a breeze. Also, could be handy for setting up a Home Alone-style light show to deter burglars when you’re not home. Just need a train set and some cardboard cutouts.

Not clear directions for Google!!
It works and functions as it should but to get it linked to my Google assistant so I could turn it on amd off by voice was not that easy. It took me about 30 to 40 mins! Now, to get it set up with the app was easy if ypu follow the directions but it doesn’t specify how to link it to Google so you can control it with your voice. I just happened to stumble on it by clicking on everything in the app!

Great Replacement for the Belkin Wemo Failure
At the start of next year, all of the Belkin Wemo devices I had invested in will be dead, so I was in dire need of some replacements before my smart home devices turned into pumpkins. The KinClean Smart Plug is a small, cheap, unassuming device that fills that gap with no fuss. Matter support would have been fantastic though.
