Installed recently. Easy to install but screw provided is of incorrect size. Screw needs to have larger head to hold the device on wall

Essentially useless for timely leak detection
Essentially useless. Notifications do not happen in a timely manner unless the app is open. I regularly get notifications an hour or more later, which is way too long to be able to respond to a serious leak. When the thing goes off the beeping is extremely annoying and there’s no way to shut it off. Our sensor is in in guest house and it sure would be nice to be able to turn off (or completely disable) the beeping, but there is no way to do so.

Unreliable
When I needed it most, it did not work. I had an inch of standing water in an aquarium tray, and it did not beep or alert me. Woke up to a disaster. The sensor beeped when I ran it under a faucet though. Why didn’t it work overnight when I needed it to? Unreliable junk.

Feit Water sensor and probe
The battery powered water sensor and prope is convenient to install. It has worked during a test and also a leak while working on my water system. It instantly alerted me by alarm and also through the Feit App on a Android device. I have no complaints with their product and I have numerous other Feit devices. I had an issue with integration into another application ( Alexa ). I will buy more Feit leak sensors and other products of the brand.

Look for a better product
Audible alarm is not loud at all, and you can’t seem to change the notification sound in the app. You literally would have to be looking at your phone to know it even triggered an alert.

Not reliable. Tested great then nothing.
Liked the loud alarm. Doesn’t alert you unless you’re actively logged into the app. What good is that? Not cool.

Easy to setup and add to the network of other FEIT devices. Nice to separate the sensor from the electronics (mounted to side of furnace).Tested easily with damp paper towel. Fast response on Android app.
