Solid laptop mouse – recommended! [w/battery life update]
I recently got this mouse for use with my laptop, so I can’t speak to it’s longevity, but it has been fantastic. Especially considerning the low price! I use a Logitech Wireless Marathon Mouse M705 With 3-year Battery Life on my desktop, which I love. This TeckNet isn’t as good, but it’s also a lot cheaper. I bought the TeckNet because I wanted something (a) cheap/replaceable for use out and about with my laptop, (b) functional, (c) small and (d) lightweight. I got it all! It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the Logitech, such as forward/back side buttons for web browsing, notched vs. smooth wheel scroll, on/off switch, comfy & contoured shape, etc. BUT I knew that going in, so if you don’t – now you do! This is basic, but that’s perfect for a travel mouse. Additionally, the lack of on/off switch with the TeckNet has not proved a problem; after 60 seconds it auto-powers off and you simply click to awake it. Also the USB dongle stores simply on the underside very nicely. Don’t hesitate – purchase!As for the company, they emailed me simultaneously to my package arriving to check in. They are one of these smarter companies selling through Amazon that know you’re better off telling them something didn’t work than complaining to Amazon – and that’s good news for you! That means one quick email response and they’ll send you out a new mouse right away (if needed, which I didn’t as mine works fine). The idea is with these products, there’s often little production faults, and it’s built in to their business model to say, “throw away the broken one and we’ll mail you a new one.” Win/win – they keep a happy customer, and you get a new product in the mail right away!(I can’t speak to all the different models that are currently under one page on Amazon. I have the M001; it was cheapest and smallest. If those aren’t your key requirements, perhaps try the M002 for more features [?].)[UPDATE: Battery life info. My battery lasted about 4 months. I used a standard Duracell. But I use this mouse with my laptop, and I throw it in my bag at least 3 days a week when I ride my bike to work. So the mouse gets its buttons pushed plenty in the bag. Therefore the auto-off function doesn’t really work. I still say buy the mouse, because even if you’re in my situation, and you’d prefer to have an on/off switch to prevent use while traveling, this is so cheap and great otherwise, I’ve just switched to rechargeable batteries.]

Very happy with the purchase. Spend quite a bit of time to select a mouse as I want it for my laptop and I am mostly travelling. I do lot of demonstrations and make drawings using tools like MSoft Visio. Laptop trackpad is good but for what I do I need a good quality mouse. This one is my second purchase and with small USB key for wifi connectivity with mouse and the size of this mouse is perfect to be carried in my laptop bag.Another things I noticed is that it has a sleep action which is perfect for saving lot of battery life and I am still running on the same battery for I’ll say 5-6 months now. I sometime also use it as a clicker for my powerpoint presentations. Since it is so easy to carry in your hand. Very happy with the purchase and nice color selections. I got a BLUE one. I have used this mouse with Windows 8.1, Windows 10, MAX 10X, Windows 7 and Windows 2012 R2 server… it is a plug n play mouse with no need for special software. The USB key is very small that you can leave it connected to your laptop all the time. I have tested the range of this mouse as I am presenting I can be easily 20 to 25 feet away from my laptop and still works like a charm. Scroll button in the middle is very easy and responsive.Good solid product, highly recommended.

If you are one of the people who look at reviews and still feel unsure if this is the one for you, I felt the same way! So many different brand names we’ve never heard of! Do we chance it or not?! Don’t we usually think that if its a lower priced item its probably going to be cheaply made and just bypass them all together? NOT in this case! In my opinion its made better/sturdier then my Logitech that it replaced! I expected it to come free-floating in bubble-wrap or some other very cheap packaging, but it didn’t. I was impressed with the sturdy construction of the original box it came in as well as the instructions.I am a women and have fairly small hands and was looking for something that fit my hand. So I went looking for items listed with “Laptop Mouse” in the title line (actually got it for my desktop PC). I swear it seemed EVERY mouse came up in that search even the big ones. So again, I was unsure if this one was going to be what I was looking for. Well, it was! Fit my hand perfectly!I also love the automatic battery saving feature! I don’t have to click a tiny switch under it, it shuts itself off. To activate for use, I just have to turn the scroll wheel a click and its back in action!I actively play one online MMRPG game, for the last 18’ish years (Runescape) and it works just fine for that and all my other computer needs.If you decided to purchase this one, I hope you like it as much as I like mine! I’m thinking of buying second one, this time for my Laptop!

Sin problemas (plug and play) con el portátil y el pc de sobremesa. Cómodo, muy útil los botones laterales de atrás/adelante, dispone de ruleta y botón para encender/apagar. Por el precio que tiene es una gran compra.

We probably touch our computer Mouse more than we feel anything else. Its important that it fits the contour of our hands, and feels good. After a bad experience with a previous mouse, I purchased this with some trepidation as a cheap mouse.I was very pleasantly surprised though. It feels easily into the hand, with the buttons all acting to my slightest touch, giving me a real sense of control.I thoroughly recommend this – you wont be disappointed.
