The Splenssy WIFI GSM Home Alarm Security System started having charging issues and then failing to stay connected to the A/C adapter, generating false alarms and then it stopped working after 3 months. The manufacturer didn’t want to honor warranty.

Complicated to set up
Very little info for setting up and using different features. The digital screen keeps freezing whenever I try to set up motion sensors. Don’t like that the siren is wired to panel so has to stay close.

Very nice and complete system
Very nice system, user friendly.It has an admin code and an user code that both needs to be activated in order to block the control panel after the system is arm so if the alarm is triggered you will need to put the user code to disarm it. Very flexible system, every sensor may be programmed as needed independently from each other. The RFID are very versatile especially for kid and elderly so they don’t have to remember the disarm code. You may program to have messages sent to your phone over wifi letting you know where the bridge happened and also you may use your phone to arm or disarm remotely. Very happy with this system. It has many options and really easy to program and adjust to your needs. I have no cameras but all sensors are of a good range and sensitivity.

L’installation a été étonnamment simple, les instructions étaient claires et je l’ai configurée en un rien de temps.L’application mobile est intuitive et me permet de surveiller ma maison à distance sans aucun problème. J’apprécie particulièrement les notifications instantanées en cas de détection de mouvement ou d’ouverture de porte/fenêtre – cela me donne une grande tranquillité d’esprit.La sirène est suffisamment puissante pour dissuader toute intrusion. De plus, la possibilité de personnaliser les zones de surveillance est un vrai plus.La qualité des matériaux semble solide et l’ensemble respire la fiabilité. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent compte tenu des fonctionnalités offertes. Je me sens beaucoup plus en sécurité depuis que j’ai installé ce système. Je le recommande vivement à quiconque cherche une solution de sécurité domestique efficace et facile à utiliser.Un excellent achat !

Pretty decent wi-fi based security system. App notifies you quickly if there’s an alarm. Some quirks in setting it up, recommending googling for support versus reading manual, but if you’re even a little technically inclined it’s pretty impressive for the price. Wouldn’t trust it as a commercial alarm system, but for the value and what you get it does work well. I like that the batteries are all replaceable in the detectors. One thing to note is that there’s lots of nice settings in the device and in the app, including the ability to password protect the interface and also turn off the siren (very useful for testing). Some quirks keep it from 5 stars.

I had this device for over a year now works great and z best about it is even if black outs it works as its chargeable and SIM friendly as it contact u through ur local mobile service provider. Taken it to Africa and works good for securing my home

Great for the price. I would of given a higher rating if it weren’t for the instructions being nonsense. The app made it easier to set up but there are no instructions on what to do to pair the sensors.
