Great bulbs with lots of features
After the third time that the incandescent bulbs I used in my bedside table lamps blew out in the last six months, I decided to finally upgrade to LED bulbs. I have been making lighting upgrades all around my home and I love the ability to change and control the lights to fit my mood, so this led me on a search to find some smart bulbs for my bedroom.I purchased the Caveman Smart Bulbs and I am very happy with my purchase. Installation is literally as simple as screwing in a light bulb, opening a Smart Home app, and scanning the QR codes that come on a little paper in the box or are printed on the bulb itself to connect your phone to the bulbs. First of all, I love that I was able to “name” each bulb and assign them to a room, so I know which bulb is mine or my husband’s and I can control them either individually or together.I’ve been playing around with the many features these light bulbs provide, but my favorite is the option to create a schedule. The circadian lighting feature is really cool, but I love the variety and control the schedule feature gives me. I also love that these bulbs aren’t limited to “cool white” or “warm white” like a lot of others, I’ve set my schedule to turn on the lights at a very low brightness and pale orange in the morning, transitioning into a bright, neutral white during the day, and gradually fading back into the low and warm lighting at night. The best part is, even though I typically cycle through different temperatures of white lighting in the bedroom, these bulbs also have full RGB capability which I think is best used with the Nanoleaf app because there are lots of “scenes” pre-made by Nanoleaf and its users, or you can press the little wand in the scenes menu to type in a few words to have a custom-made scene which is a really fun feature.Overall, very happy with this purchase. The bulbs are responsive, bright, and the ability to change colors would make them fit into any environment in your home. I think they would be especially great in a kids room or gaming room because of all the fun color options.

Low Friction Lighting
The smart home market is cluttered with units that promise seamless integration but deliver a setup process that feels like a full scale interrogation. This A19 bulb from Nanoleaf is a rare exception. Integrating this into the Nanoleaf app was efficient and lacked the usual connectivity friction that plagues Matter devices in their early stages. The hardware itself feels standard but the execution on the software side is where the value sits.Colors are saturated without looking neon and the transition between tunable whites is smooth enough for daily use. It doesn’t hum or flicker at lower dimming percentages which is usually the first failure point for cheaper LED alternatives. It is a competent piece of gear for someone who wants to expand their ecosystem without spending twenty minutes troubleshooting a single bulb. If you are looking for a theatrical lighting setup that just works when you command it, this unit is dialed in.

Very simple and quick
I have a mixed bag of iot things around the house and other lights I’ve bought have required separate apps hubs and nonsense. I already have Apple everything and these lights connected and integrated with my home automations extremely well. The bulbs are as advertised high quality and bright, the Siri integration was seamless and the color quality is smooth, and much better than I expected for the low price. The bulbs feel durable and well made.

Beautiful light!
This is simply a great smart light bulb! Installation is a no brainer, and even in an exposed fixture, it looks very nice! But when I turned it on, I was in awe, the color quality is amazing, and it’s very bright! The range of colors is stunning! I was able to pair it very easily, the code sticker from the box was super helpful! Simple, beautiful light!

Decent, not great
Pros: Connected with my wi-fi ok, definitely easier than the Feit product I’ve used previously.Cons: difficult to establish control with Alexa, but I suspect that has as much to do with Alexa as with the product itself.Jury is out on the reliability and product life, but since it’s about half the price of the similar Feit product, I’m willing to give it a try.

Love these!
I have them in every room in my house and at both of my does. They work so will. Voice activated with my Google home. I can change the color, the warmth and even put them on a mode to dance with my music! They were easy to connect, durable, pretty sure it’s compatible with Google home and Alexa, and the brightness is adjustable.
