UPDATE! Great solution to two light switches in one box!
UPDATE: So, I bought this November 2019 and it just burnt out. So, it lasted 3 years. No notice, no flickering, buzzing or any other indication that it was going out. Just one day, the other day, Alexa! Turn on the bathroom light. ALEXA! TURN ON THE BATHROOM LIGHT. Alexa is like “The bathroom light is not responding, please check your wifi or power supply”. Welp, neither of the indicator lights were on so there’s no power getting to them. However, I’m going to buy another today and replace it. I’ll update if it works when I install a new one.This is a great solution to the two lights in one gang box. I actually have two light switches and a GFCI plug in a two gang box. You do need the neutral for this switch. This switch does NOT come with wires in it. The wire setup for the two light switches on one gang in mine had the neutral going to the GFCI but not to the switches. I had to buy Romex 14/2 with ground in order to use an 8″ slice of neutral wire to pigtail onto the neutral wires and into this switch. Had to go to the store and buy them as none of my neighbors had a piece I could have. Otherwise, it’s just like installing any other smart switch except you have to loads to connect. To name the switch two different names to control them individually: Once I connected it to the Smart Life app I named it “Bathroom”. Then, I clicked on the switch in the Smart Life app and press and hold “Switch1” and named it Sink (for the powder room) and did the same thing to “Switch2” and named it toilet (for the room with the toilet and bathtub. You can also just press on the switch and it will turn on and off for visitors who don’t know you have a smart switch hooked up to Alexa. Oh, and then hooking up to Alexa is super easy. I was able to hook up the “Bathroom” named switch to turn both lights on and off at the same time and also hooked up the “Sink” and “Toilet” lights individually because once I installed it and added it to Alexa, She saw 3 switches so that was a surprising and added bonus in my opinion! I would buy this switch again and recommend it for sure.

Works to automate a duplex single-pole switch
I have a receptacle that controls power to two light fixtures. Unfortunately, it is very close to the door frame and only has room for a single pole switch. Originally, it had a duplex single pole switch with rockers on the top and bottom of the switch. I wanted to integrate this into my home automation, but had a hard time finding a z-wave or WiFi-enabled duplex single-pole switch. As far as I could find, this is the only product that meets this specification. I am so pleased with this switch! It was very easy to swap out (if you’re familiar with basic electrical work) and it fit in my cramped receptacle box! As you can see in the picture, the panel covering had to be trimmed on the right side to fit. I still need to touch up the paint around the switch, but I am very happy with this. I downloaded the Smart Home app, added the switch and gave separate names to the top and bottom switches, then added the devices in the Alexa App. No problems at all, seemless integration and I can control each switch individually or together by speaking to Alexa. As this is not a z-wave or zigbee device, it cannot be integrated with my Smartthings hub, but that’s fine with me since Alexa can do all the automation. The only negative is that is lacks dimmer capability. That’s a big disappointment, but I’m still giving it 5 stars for function and being the only product I could find that works for me!

Using it in place of a single pole switch as a remote for two smart bulb groups.
I am using this switch as a remote control of sorts and figured I’d post my experience in case anyone else was curious if they could use this switch in this way.We put a light fixture in my sons room that had 8 of the RGB LED smart bulbs (Tuya/Smart Life compatible) and while the RGB features were great, the color temperature of those things are awful. We ordered a pair of 2700K white smart bulbs (also Tuya/Smart Life compatible) and set up one group for the RGB lights and one group for the white lights in the Smart Life app. This worked really well except for the fact that his light switch could only turn all of them off and on and when he did, 8 wifi devices connect to his AP all at once. One of the RGB bulbs is finicky and it was obnoxious for him to always have to use the app or his Echo to turn his lights on/off.I saw this switch and thought “I bet I could wire his light fixture to always be on and use this switch as a dummy to control the two groups using some automation routines in the Smart Life app” and I’m happy to report back that it works great.It was as simple as bypassing the switch for the light fixture making it always connected, and powering this switch but leaving the load circuits empty. Once I paired the switch with the app I set up automations to turn on and off his white lights group when the top of the switch was turned on and off respectively, and I did the same thing for the colored group with the bottom switch.All told it takes 4 automations (1 on and 1 off for each switch) and took maybe 5-10 minutes to install and set up.I’m super thrilled with how it worked out.

This was hard to find, lots of research to be done before buying, and they’re a rare type of switch.It works perfectly after setup. It connects to the standard Tuya backend of apps, and pairs into my GoogleHome.Absolute gamechanger for an odd outlet. 10/10

I’ve been using this for two years now never ever had an issue so far phone app is very nice as well. If you have a bunch of switches and you want to combine all three in one this is the one to go for.
