Nice little smart plug with realtime power usage
I bought this for mostly monitoring how much power my TV and other electronics user when they are not on (ghost power). It give a good info on power user in real time and give past month, week or day usage too using the mobile application.

Occasionally turns itself off
I was hoping the “smart switch” was better than the last POS Chinese junk I had. Well turns out it’s just as big a POS as the last. Turned my 5G off on router and still no luck pairing or connecting. Worked once then stopped. No connection no pairing. Won’t stay on when button on side is pressed. Done with this Chinese JUNK.

I dislike how hard it is to setup. Mines still doesn’t work with the platform it says it should work with. I wouldn’t buy this product again.

This is a good well supported WIFI switch. I bought it to use with Home Assistant and by following the instructions on the SONOFF site I got it working reasonably quickly. the eWelink app is fine. The device has lots of settings in firmware and the firmware is upgradeable over WIFI (be careful it powers it off during the upgrade with no warning). The default start in the off position can be changed in settings to on, for example, in the event of a power failure. The power management could use some work. At low power <2W it's not very accurate sometimes measuring 0W. The kWH works ok but relies on communicating back to the portal to work. The graph is at a month level so not granular at all. The real time allows you to record over a period of time you can control, stop, and refresh. There is NO ability to even get min/max/avg numbers. The switch and light are not the easiest to see/find/push which is of course good and bad. All in all a pretty good product!

It was delivered quickly and as ordered. It does everything it’s supposed to, and the app has plenty of features for analyzing your power usage plus other great features. I recommend this to anyone interested in monitoring their power.Edit: The unit worked great and integrated with Alexa when I bought it. It seems there was an app update and now it won’t talk to Alexa. It lost all it’s history. The app is almost unuseable now.
