Nice little digital kitchen scale.
This kitchen scale is okay. I was looking for an inexpensive kitchen scale and that is definitely what this is. I’m not overly thrilled with it, but it seems to work and that’s what matters.The pink color is more like a muddy mauve than actual pink and that can be seen in the listing photos. But it’s a kitchen scale, not a fashion statement for me. The power / tare button is clunky and you can actually hear it double clicking when you press it. I’ve had to press it several times to get it to turn off rather than just reset the tare, which is a bit annoying. This might be due to the fact that the power button serves 2 functions and thus has to be pressed differently depending on your purpose. The mode button on the other side is easier to operate. It also clicks but it is consistent. The display is nice and clear with reasonably large white letters/numbers on a blue background which makes it easy to read even in low light. I am not sure how accurate it is as I have been using it to weigh dog kibble (doggos are on a diet and I’m trying to be sure they don’t get more than they need). Sometimes I have to remove quite a number of kibbles in order for the scale to adjust the weight.The scale does automatically turn itself off after a short time of inactivity. The listing says 60 seconds but I don’t think it even stays on that long.It comes with 2 AAA batteries and the battery case is easily accessed for replacement purposes.Overall it’s an okay scale. I’d prefer one that is a more neutral color and that has the newer style of buttons that are mostly silent.

This compact scale is simple to use and has multiple functions. It is slim, which makes it easy to store. I ordered the pink, which is like a dusty rose in color. The digital read out is backlit and large enough to see easily. It runs on two AAA batteries (included). It says you can weigh items up to 5 lbs. but I would be leery of putting anything quite that heavy on it, only because it is so small. It is lightweight in itself as it is made of plastic, and it has non-slip feet on the bottom. The platform has the tiniest little lip all the way around it vs being perfectly flat. Most of the time you will want to place whatever you are weighing into a container of some kind and then place it on the scale. The great thing about this digital scale, is it makes it easy to weigh whatever container you plan to use first – then ‘zero’ out the reading, so that you get the true weight of just your item. It can be switched from ounces to pounds to grams – so no more guessing how to translate measurements in different recipes. You can use it to weigh small packages or envelopes for mailing, too. It’s not just for the kitchen! This would make a nice gift as many people don’t realize how useful it is to have a small scale in the house! It is a fantastic price and should last a long time and get a lot of use!
