Great product -both display and camera are a great value
Great product -both display and camera are a great value. The display is crisp and clear, the keyboard is easy to use and the device responds perfectly to voice commands. The audio quality is very good. This is for those who do not want to lose their old radio and CD player and want a separate unit for navigation and reverse camera. Great Garmin replacement. My old Garmin looks outdated next to it!! The ball joint on the old Garmin base fits!! It does Google maps and Waze really well , my phone blue tooth works great, it supports Apple but could not test it as I don’t have Apple. My son installed but don’t even try unless you are very good at it. Get it professionally installed. Highly recommend it!!

It is a useful one for biggers as us
We bought this CarPlay system for my husband’s Kia Soul 2012, and it works perfectly even though the car is a bit older. The installation was easy and straightforward, with no complications at all. It connects smoothly via Bluetooth to the phone and works exactly as expected.The screen is very useful and versatile you can use it for GPS navigation, music, calls with the speakerphone, and more. We mainly bought it for the GPS and for safer parking, and it has been a great upgrade for our car. The package includes all the necessary accessories and cables, including the power adapter for the car.The only small detail is that we haven’t installed the backup camera yet, but the CarPlay itself is working flawlessly. Overall, we are both very happy with this purchase. It’s practical, functional, and definitely worth it.

Disappointed
I already had another one of these I bought last year that worked mostly fine, except the backup camera, so I decided to order this one, and I am extremely disappointed. First off, the very first picture in this listing is very misleading as it shows almost no bezel to the screen, which is obviously much more visually appealing than the half-inch border around the screen. The rest of the pictures accurately portray the bezel this screen has though, so I guess that’s something.I am a diehard Samsung user – I’ve tried the iPhone and decided I’ll only buy Samsungs after that, so I’m using the AndroidAuto connection with this.The 3 things I want this screen to do are show me Waze, play my music, and show me the backup camera when I’m backing up. This unit does meet expectations in 2 of these categories, but it 100% fails when playing music as it constantly skips, like its 2005 and you’re trying to listen to a CD after you let your cat play with it. The constant skipping makes it impossible to listen to music. I don’t use sound with Waze, so I’m not sure if the turn-by-turn directions skip like this or not, but I’ll try to test that out soon.I’ve already done all the troubleshooting- made sure everything is up to date, tried different AUX and even power cords and sources, and even received a replacement unit, which has the same exact problem. The skipping occurs whether you play the music through AUX, FM Transmit, or through the device’s own speaker. I can confirm even further that it’s nothing to do with my phone or vehicle because the other one I had planned to stop using works without any issues.Unfortunately, we’ve already gone through the time and effort to install the backup camera, which does work, even when you’re not in reverse, and it’s just not worth uninstalling that to return the device, so when you see an 08 F150 going down the road with not just one but TWO AndroidAuto/Carplay screens on the dash, just know that’s me 🙋♀️ having to use 2 of the pretty much same devices to achieve the 3 things either one of them should be able to do on their own.A simple Google search will tell you this skipping issue is common with AndroidAuto. In my experience, owning at least 5 of these kinds of screens in the last several years, I’ve only ran into the skipping issue once, and it was fixed as soon as I updated the device’s software, so this is something I expect not to happen with a “2026 Enhanced Carplay Screen”, but here we are. With that said, if you’re an iPhone user, you probably already stopped reading this, but I’m sure this would be a great purchase for you. I would not recommend this for Android users.

A worthy addition to your vehicle, with a couple small issues.
I’ve got a couple issues but first and foremostly this tablet is absolutely worth it if you’re looking for a budget friendly or non-destructive headunit. It’s screen is responsive, comes with everything you need and is basically plug and play. As soon as it’s plugged in you can connect it to your phone via Bluetooth and it’ll immediately pull up Android Auto or CarPlay (also features screen mirroring for videos/movies but I didn’t get into that). It has it’s own speaker but it can also output to another Bluetooth device, FM Radio or AUX (a decent one is included) If you’d like this tablet can completely cover your radio as it has it’s own volume and EQ Mixer which can be accessed by a floating button.*Most important issue for buyers,* there’s no way to power off the unit which can be a potential battery and alternator killer. After install you should take your keys out and open the door to verify the screen shuts off. If it doesn’t you should only keep it plugged in while the engine is running to avoid killing your battery and damaging your alternator.Here’s my couple of minor issues though, mainly a lack of auto brightness or dark mode (for Android Auto). You can go into your phones settings to force it to day or night mode but for some reason this unit won’t do it automatically like most do. It also doesn’t have any auto brightness so you may find yourself adjusting the brightness often if you drive at different times of the day like I do. Fortunately this can be done right from the home screen so not a big deal for me. Secondly is build quality, while it’s hard to complain at this price (and the extra stickies are nice) but it was difficult to get the tilt into the right position. I ended up taking the screw out completely, setting it where I wanted and rescrewing it back in. Again not really a big deal because you only should have to do it once.All and all a good product for a good price, just watch out for the battery issue I mentioned above.
