I don’t weigh my food, I just shovel it in. But I always seem to have a need for an accurate scale in my workshop. This one has been excellent and very well calibrated. The top is easy to wipe clean and store. Mine gets a pretty good workout during Honey harvest season when I’m bottling. Just set the empty bottle on the scale and fill to the proper weight. Simple..

Mon ancienne et vaillante balance Silvercrest, de taille comparable mais plus lourde (plateau métal, très salissant, au passage) et fonctionnant à piles, s’est mise à délirer et à afficher d’énormes poids négatifs, même avec des piles neuves.Je cherchais une semblable de taille équivalente, j’ai trouvé celle-ci et je ne suis pas déçu.Déjà, elle est plus légère, et fonctionne sur batterie ce qui est un énorme avantage : plus besoin de changer les piles (il faudra bien sûr voir la duré de vie de la batterie…on ne peut pas le savoir à l’achat) ; ultra précise (je peux peser des lettres sans problème avec) et l’affichage, joli, est super clair et lumineux. Le fonctionnement est facile et intuitif avec la fonction “tare” toujours utile.Contrairement à un autre commentaire, les boutons tactiles sont très agréables à utiliser.L’extinction automatique est super.Seul bémol (mais je ne retire pas une étoile, car c’est une question de goût esthétique qui n’a rien à voir avec les fonctionnalités) : si la balance est belle avec son plateau en verre et le fait qu’elle soit très plate, j’aurais nettement préféré, pour les motifs colorés du bas, avoir le choix d’autres versions avec des couleurs plus gaies, par exemple des nuances de rouge, ou du jaune, ou orange, au lieu de ce triste noir et gris…dommage ! Peut-être que la marque sortira un jour le même modèle en plus “pétillant”.En tout cas pour les qualités, et à condition que cette la balance dure longtemps, le prix est vraiment bas.

I have owned this scale for about four months now. I use it at least twice per day to feed my dogs. I am not polite with this thing in the slightest. It has stainless steel dog bowls thrown on it twice per day. It gets dropped, constantly cleaned, and handled. Check the video for the minor surface scratches that should be expected with normal daily use. I would like to think I am a heavy user, the battery life is so long, I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I had to charge it. It is on the charger right now. It will be there for maybe a couple of hours and it is back to fully charged. I have USB outlets in the house, and USB-C cables laying around, so this thing is very convenient to charge, and simple to use. It has all functionality one would expect with a simple scale, switching between the most common units I use in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this for someone who’s looking to purchase a reasonably priced quality, high quality digital kitchen scale.

Adiós pilas de botón! Es una comodidad enorme la carga de batería. La uso a diario, y solo la he cargado una vez! Hubiera gastado varias pilas con mi antigua báscula.El display es muy grande, visible y luminoso.No tiene pitidos molestos.Se apaga muy fácil tanto con botón táctil como con el botón físico del lateral.Además tiene una superficie amplia y es bastante chula.Se puede limpiar fácilmente con un trapo húmedo.La volvería a comprar si fuera necesario.
