The scale is easy to use but it took me a moment to figure out its operation and switching units . It weighs items slightly differently from my bathroom scale but is accurate enough to satisfy me.You need to be strong enough to hold it steady while lifting your suitcase to get a good reading.

Review: Alleo Luggage Weight Scale for Travel 110lbs – Precise Luggage Scale Travel Digital, Portable Handheld Bag Weigher with Backlit LCD, Battery Included, Compact for Airport, Cruise & Carry-On / Brand: AlleoIt’s a compact scale that doesn’t take up much space when stored away.It’s very easy to use, just press the start button to begin.Switching between pounds and kilograms is simple, too. Just press the on/off button to select your preferred unit.I tested the scale by weighing my 2 lb dumbbell, and it showed 2.2 lb, 10% higher than the actual weight. At first, I wasn’t sure whether the dumbbell itself wasn’t exactly 2 lb or if the scale was inaccurate. To double-check, I tried an unopened 1 lb pasta box, and it measured 1.1 lb, again, 10% higher.Out of curiosity, I switched the unit from pounds to kilograms. Since 1 lb equals 0.453 kg, the pasta should have weighed 0.453 kg. However, the scale displayed 0.5 kg, which is also about 10% higher than the actual weight.It seems this scale consistently measures about 10% over. While it’s not perfectly accurate, the error is very consistent, which is actually helpful to know. It’s always “accurately inaccurate” by about 10%. And in some cases, like weighing suitcases for flights, 10% over might be safer than 10% under.I’ll keep testing with different items to see if they all come out around 10% higher.
