Setup and configuration – plus a pretty picture with sound!
We’re only at the installation phase and I must say: easy to setup and control. Picture and audio are exceptional!Will update once we’ve used them for awhile.

Good video quality, bad reliability
Update: Switched all cameras to Eufy. 100% recommend. All cameras, doorbell, and HomeBase connected extremely easily. Unfortunately I discarded the boxes so I cannot return my blink e-waste. i’m hesitant to even give them away as i’d have to endure setup again. felt great canceling the blink subscription all while getting better, on device AI, local storage, and clear camera quality and streaming.Unreliable and freezing video streaming. Set up was atrocious. I consistently have over way over 100mbps upload on my network, yet this camera cannot smoothly stream video under any condition. sometimes it will not play anything at all, just constant pinwheel. set up took 2 hours for two cameras. many different errors at different steps of the set up. Motion detection, video quality and light are good, though. I have had an original blink mini for years and it reliably streams video smoothly, just lower resolution and clarity, but at least you can see SOMETHING.

Incessant in-app solicitation
I’m being force advertised to in my blink app. We do not want a subscription, we store local. Notification settings do nothing. This still shows up. X it out, it comes right back. Wasn’t buying this camera (which I’m sure is just lovely) or signing up for a sub but now I’m surely not strictly on principle.

Pretty good system for the price, but has hiccups.
These are motion activated cameras. That is, they do not give you a 24/7 saved video stream. For what they do, they do well, especially for the price. Flaws that I see are that sometimes at night the auto-IR does not kick in and the scene remains way too dark. Another flaw is that sometimes at night half the image (always the right half) is blacked out. This one is just weird. Both these problems seems to self correct.

Nice little camera
This is truly a great product very clear picture and very quick to respond to motion. If you plan to use one of the panning mounts for the camera make sure you use a blink mini NOT the blink mini 2. It’s not compatible .

Easy set up and install
The 2k far exceeds the 1st gen but still. You get what you pay for. The quality of the app and the camera user experience is fair. But if money saving is what you need they are definitely a great choice for home security. Simple and super easy to set up and install

Will not work with old pan and tilt
I got this to change what I could see for use on the pan and tilt I already had setup. Low and behold the plug is not compatible. They could have simply molded it to fit form the start but no, now it is just like the stationary cameras of the past. So much for forward compatible thinking.On the one side nice picture but when it is static it feels lost in its usefulness.
