Great value!
I’ve been using this scale for a couple of weeks and it has worked flawlessly. The weight values seem accurate and correspond to those of another scale. The fractional gram readings are nice and let you know how close you are getting to the desired weight when adding ingredients. The weight values update quickly with little delay. The backlight has 3 options: On, Auto, or Off. Auto is the default option and Is the option I’m using. The buttons have a nice tactile feel to them. I can’t speak to the durability of the scale but it has worked very well for me so far and I’m very pleased with its performance. I think it is a great deal for the price.

Excellent. Easy operation…compact for drawer storage…light weight. I use it regularly for calorie maintenance and cooking…very very convenient. Tare function could not be easier.

Overall works well
This scale is much like many other low-end kitchen scales. The body is plastic. I think it’s a little overpriced for what it is. I compared it to an eleven dollar metal/plastic scale that I’ve been using for 8 years now (NEVER thought that would happen). This scale is easy to read and the buttons are tactile. You can choose to save battery by adjusting backlight usage and time to auto shutoff. The two scales give comparable readings. They differ a little on some of the weight units because they don’t read out the same number of decimal places, so the scale may round a little differently. But, it’s as accurate as you would expect at this price point. If you want to weigh something like, say, a baby, in lbs/oz you will have to do a little math. You can measure in pounds and convert the tenths of a pound to ounces, or you can measure in ounces, divide by 16, and then convert the remainder back to oz. That’s a little annoying. My older scales can do all three measurements (lbs, oz, lbs/oz). Overall, solid for kitchen use.
