Good value. Easy to setup and use
I had a really nice All-In-One HP printer but it was such a hassle to use. It wasted a ton of ink every time I turned it on or ran maintenance and eventually would not print color anymore (likely due to infrequent use). The printer also complained loudly when using aftermarket cartridges and didn’t like to be “offline” and not connected to the mothership at HP.This Canon printer is the complete opposite. It was super easy to set up, connected to my internet quickly using the phone app. The app also installed quickly and easily on my computer and everything just works. It doesn’t constantly run long maintenance cycles that needlessly burn through ink and the scanning and printing quality is reasonable for my needs.It doesn’t take up as much space as my older HP but does “feel” like cheaper materials were used (not unexpected at this price point). So far, no paper jams or other issues with this printer.

Easy to install and to use!
Easy to install and connect, works perfectly, copies are crisp and legible. If I, a 76 year old Luddite with little technical knowledge can install this printer, anyone can. A big plus is the lower cost ink, 25% less in cost than HP, who really hates non branded ink to the point of not printing. It is smaller than most printers, white rather than black, so it isn’t as imposing as other printers on your desktop. So far, this is a perfectly usable printer for a low price.

Can do 8×10 and Photo Glossy…. Can’t do both at the same time… and NO SUPPORT!
I went with a Canon because my other printer is a canon. I was hoping to go with something similar just cheap enough to get the job done while my other printer was in the shop getting repaired…..Let’s start with complaint #1It advertises it can do letter size prints, 8×10, YEAH!…It advertises that it can print on glossy paper, YEAH!!!!What it doesn’t advertise is it cannot do both at the same time. In fact it seems to be really avoiding stating this little ‘feature’ as though it wanted you to assume it could.Complaint #2It advertises Support available.Support that when you click the link takes you to a page that does not exist and asks you to log in…. even though you are already logged in…. and when you login again the only options it gives you are community support… IE ask the other people who are also pissed about this little ‘feature’ for help.The few responses that I saw from actual Canon support on the community forums amounted to pointing at videos which completely did not answer the question or when finally pinned down, responded ‘of course it doesn’t do that, it never said that it did’….#3Okay, so I can’t do either of these together… does it atleast do one of these well?Well it prints grainy or it prints tiny…. those are your two choices…..#4Well at least it’s cost effective….The printer cartridges should last until my repaired printer gets back to me?Nice in theory, but of the 4 grainy pages I did print, it took the cartridges down to 75%…. brand new cartridges, they weren’t even full page prints, most of the page was white space….. That is ridiculous.I have had the printer for all of 6 hours and I am so glad that Amazon has a return policy that is no hassles, because I’ve already submitted for return and refund on the grounds that this product description is just flat out wrong. I ordered a simple printer that was cost effective, would print 8×10 glossy and while the cartridges were a little expensive, it would get me through till my printer was fixed…. I haven’t even made it to the UPS store with my original printer to be shipped off and this new one has even failed at being a crutch.0 Stars! Buyer beware! You don’t even get what you pay for with this neutered and unsupported piece of landfill space. AVOID

Fast setup, only took about 4 minutes. Works perfectly. You can quickly print directly from your smartphone. Very convenient!!!! If you have basic user interface computer/ smartphone skills you can make a connection in just seconds and be completely setup in minutes. Excellent value for price, very happy, ink for this unit is much cheaper than other comparable models from different brands. Parts are made in Japan and other parts from Vietnam. Everything is great, much appreciated, thanks so much! No paper jams to date, scanner works great and copy feature is flawless. Plastic is a bit thin on the body of the unit, but should hold up for at least a few years. Recommended if you get it on a deep discount like I did.

Essa compra foi muito boa, uma ótima impressora, minha única lamentação é que não é muito fácil de encontrar tinta ou cartucho para essa marca, tirando isso é uma excelente opção de impressora.
